I don't even care that this book came to me a little rough around the edges. I totally love the pop up version of this story!!! This story to me never gets old!!!

This book was so magical for me, growing up I was fascinated by the ballet and this story in particular. I have never forgotten the amazing illustrations and the immense details of the drawings. I’m so, so, so sad that I have lost my original copy from when I was a little girl. I used to dream of an awesome, handsome, swashbuckling prince to take me away on an incredible adventure like Clara gets to go on with her nut cracker.

I really love this book! My children love it too, it came out every Christmas for years and is a bit ragged and torn by all the little fingers it's had to cope with, but it's a pop-up and that's the whole idea. Iv'e tried to keep it clean and tidy because it's so special to me and will always be on my bookshelf....waiting for the grandchildren!
