I have always been a fan of the wishbone mysteries series. However, this one just wasn't one of my favorites. There were just too many things that I didnt like about it.

For starters, it didn't even feel like Wishbone was necessary for the story. The greyhounds never seemed to make sense. It just felt forced. Like the author was thinking, "how can I get Wishbone into this mystery. Oh I'll just add three greyhounds and make one of them old and randomly appearing to make Wishbone find the bad guys."

Also, David's whole computer geek club. David wasn't usually the main character in the other Wishbone mysteries I've read (it's usually centered around Joe and Wishbone) and I think I know why. David isn't a very interesting character, tbh. He just never really captured my interest the way Joe and Wishbone do.

Not bad. For younger readers than me, but still enjoyed it. Definitely would have enjoyed this when I was a "young adult".

Fabulous book. I've always loved Wishbone and this book was written at a level that it didn't bore or annoy me, like a lot of children's books do. The only reason it didn't get five stars is because I've read better, but not in the children's genre.
