I must say this is the most exciting and intriguing series I have read in a long time. I can't help but remember when I read Harry Potter as a kid. The first time I truly felt a connection with the characters and not only a want but a need to complete the series and watch the lives of these people I have come to love unfold. This is the feeling I get from this series. I love all the characters and every new bit of information that is building the suspense for the final showdown is in my opinion perfectly timed. I will of course have to re read the entire series at a slower pace later as at the moment I just really want to know what happens so I am going through them a little quickly. But that is the kind of book I love, something that I can't help but devour so quickly that I have to read it again to discover any little hint I missed the first time round.
I am in love and fully recommend reading this series.

Book #5 of the series involving an alien race of shape-shifting hybrid animalistic race of men who have discovered that Earth women are their soul mates. The author puts a twist to the whole discovery process in this one but I'm not sure I liked it. Too much content in the book involved whether or not the quad were soul mates or not which left less time for the actual story. There are some interesting twists and I can see who the next book will be about. And I do believe the author is intending to do a spin off series that I would definitely look into.
The actual erotica is not featured as much in this book than the others and that was disappointing too.
Still this is a series I can't help reading just would have liked to see a little more substance and logic.

The review for this one is the same for previous book, the authors writing has improved in leaps and bounds for these last two books which is relief because it combines sci-fi, shapeshifters and fmmm - how can you go wrong?
I don't really think these two are up to a true rating of four because I still think the weak point is the erotic scenes, and in this type of book, the sex is an integral part; but I really think she should be banned from using the words "pinch" and "milking" - and too much dialogue, and inconsistent with characters personalities in rest of book.

Soul Linked series best eve
I have read all nine books of this series. If I were to choose a favorite I could not do it. They all held my attention. From start to ending. Thank you.

Gryphons' Dream
This book didn't hold me riveted to my tablet. Interesting bits, but, something was missing,
That oomph you normally get from Laura Jo.
Still worth reading.

Review
I think this is the best book in the series. The series world building if very good as is the overall series arc. It is a series that should be read in order.
It is a sexy series with lots of fun alien races, animals, and cultures.
However, the romances are usually not well developed because the action of the overall plot takes over the story so we don't get much couple time. Also, this is a fated mate trope which I like but in this series rather than sink into the trope and allow the couple (or square in this case) to be together and learn each other, there tends to be annoying conflicts. Bleh,
In this story, we get a ton of time between the lovers and the conflict is well done and not stupid.
The heroine has friendships and a great backstory. The heroes shape shift into griffins and do only one dumb thing but overall adorable.
So, I highly recommend this book. The series is enjoyable but this book is all around great.

Love this series!
The Gryphon Brothers and feel an odd connection when they meet Aisling, while she is trapped under the influence of the Controller. When she is free the feeling doesn't change and she feels the same. While they are certain that Aisling is not their Arima, they have dreamt of her for most of their life and as they spend time with her their feeling deepen. They must decide to choose love or wait for their Arima. What happens if they claim her and she turns out to be the Arima of another male set or they find theirs. Everything they feel indicates they belong together.
I loved Aisling and the Gryphon brothers story. Karma proved to be a true friend to all. I am sad that her destiny is taking her away from Jasan. Hoping that Berta and her Falcoran's find happiness.
Things are coming to a head and knowledge of another prophecy and it's implications may doom the thousand worlds. Can't wait to see how things play out!

This one was not a favorite of mine but I was very glad that the author returned to her original format of focusing on a specific male-set and their Arima. I just did not like that the males had to wait for a so long before they knew for sure that she was their woman. It did not make sense that after being around her so much that they did not "recognize" her. Especially, when in the other books the males do not even have to be around their potential mate to know that she is near. Other than that it was a good addition to the series.

This installment of the Soul-Linked Saga was very good. Im not sure if the premise is getting stale or not, but it was very sweet. I think our heroine (and our heroes) were not as "big as life" compared to the previous ones. I will continue to read the series to see where it goes and how it gets there. All in all, Laura Jo Phillips is a very good author that I would recommend.

I must confess I did not like this book as much has the others, and indeed I thought this and the fourth book of The Soul-Linked Saga left me wishing for something else.
I found the unusual situation of this romantic quartet a bit silly, after the explanation I was a little happier and logical.
In general, the book was not bad and I liked the plot twist of Karma.

My Favorite In The Series
T his is my fourth time reading through Laura Jo',s books. I don't normally leave reviews,but we really enjoy reading her tales. We recommend her stories be cause of the characters and her world building. Her planning throughout her series amazes. Great story.

Better than book 4 by far! I liked that she shook things up a bit with the main characters not recognizing their Arima right away; it was a nice change. I'm quite interested in reading Berta's story...
