Nothing new here - exercise, eat healthier, get enough sleep, etc. This book would have been a pamphlet if the author didn't repeat everything over and over and over and over.

John Whiteman incorporates commonly recommended practices and repackages them as his own. I like how these components all work together. At times, I felt that he needed to be more honest about where he had pulled information. For example, personal space is basically meditation and mindfulness. Finally, don't click on any links.

So very good breathing exercises. This book is about finding balance in your life. It was good but none of the links worked.

For the most part, I really enjoyed this self help book. It was very inspirational. The author went over the 9 elements (or areas of a person's life) that are instrumental in creating happiness. Some of these are exercise, nutrition, social connection. He provides a test in which you answer questions and the results tell you which area(s) need work. Then he tells you how to improve on these areas.

This is a great tool for anyone trying to find a little peace in a fast past world. The author divides the book into two section. In the first section the reader learns about the five areas of behavior change in the second section the reader learns how to motivate oneself. I gained some good stuff and will definitely try some of the breathing exercises to reduce stress.

Nothing new here, but it's a helpful book for people who don't know about the benefits of exercise, mindful eating, good nutition, sensory experiences, etc. I like that he includes free audio meditations because a lot of authors now list them in their books but require you to purchase them in addition to the book! I also like the checklist and interactivity.
