A young girl has an extra eye on the end of her finger, which guides her to save the reputation of a famous artist and discovers a lost treasure in ancient Egypt

He also writes under the name of John St Claire. Duncan currently lives in Glebe‚ NSW with his wife‚ Jill.
Third entry in the series about Emily Eyefinger and yes if you have read one of these ten you have seen this before - well anyway it is again another similar collection of tales involving the title character who does amazing things to save the day in all sorts of circumstances with her extraneous eye.
This was a good little read. Only problem I had with it is that archaeologists don’t sell burial and funerary items found in a pyramid, they’re mostly donated to the museums or given to the country they belong to.
Emily has a third eye on the end of her finger which helps her solve puzzles and get out of scrapes—pretty concrete as befits the age level, but cute. 2nd/early 3rd grade level, adventure, more likely to appeal to girls.
