Tom Warwyck and Nicolette Radcliffe, the young heirs of two rival Easthampton families, reach out to one another across a chasm of scorn, family hatreds, and vindictiveness

The reviews were not so good on this last book of her trilogy, but I couldn't resist but to keep an open mind and am very glad I did. There could have been some more character development of some but I still enjoyed it. There are many editing errors as mentioned in reviews that were just plain sloppy but don't let it stop you if you enjoyed the first and second books as much as I did.
A satisfying conclusion to the three generations' family saga. The first book in the trilogy is my favourite and one that I reread. This book has a "Romeo and Juliet" love story between two grandchildren of feuding families from book one. It also includes echoes from previous books, of a fighting match, of building a vision against an odds of love between a woman reminiscent of the h in book one and the h's married son. Tension builds, threads intertwine, secret love, hateful revenge results in page turning.
