What do a dog trainer, a bestselling cookbook author, a well-known paleontologist, and a workaholic publicist have in common? The four American ladies can not resist the attraction they feel for four out of this world hunks during a holiday in Scotland and end up marrying them.
An entertaining, funny and romantic anthology. A great read.

I really enjoyed each short story on its own merits. All of the leading ladies where strong characters and still had the virile alpha male in a kilt I love, based in my favourite country abroad. All of the stories engage me immediately and were interesting, I especially liked the detail about the tourist trinkets one character buys as a gag gift and ends up having to use.

The last story in the book was best I thought which is what got the book four stars, otherwise it would have only received three.

Overall, the book was fairly enjoyable. Of the four authors, my least favorite was Debra Dier, if for no other reason than she called women "female(s)" on multiple occasions.

My Scottish Summer is a compilation of four stories of romantic romps. Not my cup of tea. The saving grace of the first story, Lassie Go Home, was that partially is set in Mull where I will be going in several weeks. Also, it revolves around a champion border collie and as a dog lover, I can identify with the characters' feelings.

Nice short stories. All of them have the material to be longer though.

This book needed a better proofreader. Too many spelling errors in it, which I found distracting. The final story was the best of the four.

The short stories were okay. All of the stories felt like the potential for standalone books.
