Silly issue where the Tallest send Zim their trash and trick him into thinking the giant Cheeto is a weapon he has to charge by hitting humans with it. Cute bits where he disguises the poof as a baby or Gir watches sunshiney holographic cartoons. Miss Bitters makes an appearance as well as an adorable munching squirrel. Great Zimmy wordplay.
The Tallest has tricked Zim into keeping this jar of goopiness safe. Transmission after transmission the Tallest tells him different and more dangerous ways to charge it up. Gets old after awhile and Zim sends it back to space.....
I kind of feel bad that Zim is always doomed to fail in his attempts. And worse that the those he looks up to trick him constantly. Worse is he's brilliant and falls for each time because he's blinded by loyalty. I think this is a lot of people now. We're blinded by those we esteem and don't see the path they could be leading us down.
I always enjoy reading what adventure Zim is on. I enjoy watching him mess up and Gir be his silly self. Honestly this is my favorite series and I'm so glad it's alive again.
When I saw that this would feature the Almighty Tallest, I was expecting it to be REALLY funny. It turned out not to be so. There are little funny bits like when Zim hits an old woman with a can, but the Tallest are just being mean to Zim and watching him get hurt. And the ending leaves me wondering whether or not the two of them die in the explosion that destroys their half of space. What is left of the armada? Will this event be consequential or do the Tallest just survive this?
