Filled with beautiful illustrations based on Raymond Briggs's classic, this book uses simple words to describe the exciting things that happen to James and his magical snowman. The die-cut shape and rounded corners are perfect for the very smallest hands to hold.
Based on a classic too often means...not as good as. These are the original illustrations for the most part (and when they aren't...you'll notice) but the text is just...not at all good. Kiddo likes that the kid in the book shares his name, though, that's something.
This is a wonderful story about a boy named James who wakes up on a snowy morning. He makes a snowman and has fun with him. It is a sturdy board book with flaps to lift up. It is a timeless story that little ones will enjoy! It is a favorite in our house.
