Used this for a short time when I had a bread machine. I decided I really prefer making bread by hand, but I thought the recipes in this book were pretty good. They were certainly better than recipes from any other source I found. Gave it away with the bread machine.

I have moved from sourdough to the bread maker. I bake bread 2x per week and I love this book.

This is at the top of my list (along with Bread Machine Magic) as my favorite bread machine cookbook. The breads turn out just the way the book describes them and its simple directions are very easy to follow. There are quantities for both 1 lb and 1-1/2 lb loaves for every recipe. The photos are beautiful.

Favorite recipes include: Garlic (wonderful texture), Easy French (very tasty and very easy), Outrageously Oatmeal (easy), Sun Nut (nice chewy texture).

Excellent companion to a bread machine. Gives great insight into how to make bread and what to do when you screw it up.
