Defense lawyer Lou Mason is a bit of a smart-aleck and while he follows a few useless clues, in the end he comes to the right conclusion.

Excellent read

Mr Goldman holds the reader in suspense till the very end of each book. Is as intriguing as Grisham. Never thought I would say that until I read these four novels. Will definitely keep him at the top of my reading list.

Too much the same

One or two books enough. Characters are interesting. Would recommend for light reading. Not as interesting as Swedish authors as far as character development.

Great series

The writing gets noticeably better as the books go on. The characters are deep and likable. I will be reading the next one.
