Remy's a carefree, easygoing immortal...with a secret. She made a deal with her masters - in exchange for a hundred years of freedom, she'd give them a hundred years of servitude. Pretty sweet deal...until it's time to pay up. Now, she's about to become enslaved again, and it's up to Jackie to step in and save the day. But will Zane help her? Or will he be happier without Remy at Jackie's side?
JILL MYLES writes as Jessica Clare and Jessica Sims.
A NOTE ABOUT FRIENDING: I will happily friend you back if you friend me! Goodreads is, after all, about discussing books we both love. I will NEVER self-promote my books to you. And if you self-promote your books to me, no matter how nicely, I'm deleting you off my list. Sorry. Goodreads is about fun, not spam.
A NOTE ABOUT MY REVIEWS: Hey, look at that! Most of my reviews are really positive! This is not me kissing ass - It's because at heart, I am a lazy reader. If I'm not enjoying a book, I don't finish it. I don't review anything I didn't finish, ergo, most of the reviews I put up here are pretty much positive across the board because I finished them and was happy with the story. Makes sense, right?
Remy is in trouble. One of her masters demands that she needs to report back. She will have to serve him for 100 years. It is her obligation. But Remy is very happy with Ethan and her job.Every 100 years that she has to serve her master, she suffers.
Jackie will not leave her friend suffer. Together with her lover, Zane, and Remy's lovers, Ethan; they will try to defend Remy. Surprisingly Remy's master is now the founder of a cult and he is not happy at all that Remy has brought all her friends.
I have to admit that Remy's master was a caricature of a male. You could never take him seriously. The whole tragic situation was very funny in the end and Zane saves the day.
This short takes place after book 3 in the Succubus series.
Remy's been summoned, her free time is up, and now she is supposed to return to her master Isiah for her next round of 100 years of servitude, as per their previous deal. Only problem is he’s a cultish prick who gets off on making slaves of women. Jackie vows to help free Remy from this cruel service any way she can. Cue another wacky, little road trip with Remy, Jackie, Zane and Remy's current love Ethan. This was a quick, fun little romp that only just whets my Zane appetite.
I swear there is just something about Jill Myles books that enables me to confidently breeze through them, ensuring a delightful, quirky, sexy fun read anytime. I think it’s safe to say I will always be a fan.
If you haven’t already, you MUST read this series! Fun will be had by all. Just remember…Zane is mine! ;)
I loved this short story...I love this series!!! I want me some Zane. Get on the Zane train!!! Highly recommend this book, highly recommend this series. Get off your butts people, read series and love it!!!
Deserves a five star. Short but sweet. I love the love stories between Zane and Jackie. I love the fact he never controls her. Love/sex should be freely given not commanded or demanded coming from one side, even in a necessary relationship.
Succubus, Interrupted is a short read – about 39 pages long – but it packs a punch in continuing the series – The Succubus Diaries.
With the twist Gabriel springs on Jackie at the end of My Fair Succubi, we begin Succubus, Interrupted with Jackie and company trying to break into a museum to continue in their search for the missing halos. Remy and Zane are at odds, fighting and bickering at every turn and Jackie is at the end of her rope putting up with their behavior. But when the girls run across a phallic statue and Remy bursts into tears, Jackie realizes something is bothering her best friend.
Coming up empty handed at the museum, Jackie prods Remy for information and finds out Remy, (who has only one living master left as her vampire master died long ago) has traded 100 years of freedom from Isaiah, her angel master, in exchange for 100 years of servitude. Remy’s 100 years of freedom are up and she must now report to Isaiah and live up to her end of her promise. Upon learning her fate, Jackie immediately offers to help her friend.
Coming off a high from My Fair Succubi and my encounter with the ‘Obey My Master’ command function, I was saddened to see there was a negative side to it as well. *sad julie* In this book, we see that Ethan and Remy have started a relationship and I love them together, so of course he quickly comes on board, determined to help his ‘Remiza’ however he can. Zane also comes along for the ride and together they all try to find a way to free Remy from Isaiah.
Isaiah is all sorts of creepy as he runs a cult-like compound where the women he keeps there serve him unconditionally. It was an all around uncomfortable read knowing what Isaiah expected of ‘his women’, and I was on board getting Remy away from him, ASAP!
Succubus, Interrupted is a sweet & good read, and a great addition to the series. The reason it gets 3 Kisses is because it was too short and the hottt scenes were a bit rushed, though I LOVED the ending of this book. You’ll never believe who comes to Remy’s rescue at the end!
I can’t wait to continue reading the series and find out what happens next!
This is a nice end for the series… Jackie helping Remy to be free of her remaining master. Now she can be with Ethan and have a nice relationship with loads of sex. :D
I am perfectly fine with Jackie and Zane together and can tell they are in-love.
You have some men in the world that are chauvinist pigs and this was Isaiah in this book. He was such a weakling that he surrounded himself with women slaves. He would have been easy to kill – but as you remember to kill her master also ends her life. But thank goodness she only had the one remaining master. So Zane offered a gamble for her and Isaiah choose Go FIsh as the card game.
This was a nice short book and most of the time they are great because there won’t be any recapping – but you had to recap in this and when you started I glanced at how many pages it was and sighed… really – did you have to waste time like that?
The book ends with Zane telling Jackie they are a team, your wants and needs are mine too. Now and Forever!

My Rating: 4 stars: Enjoyed - strongly recommend (A-)
This is a great little story for fan’s of Ms. Myles’ excellent Succubus Diaries. This is not a stand alone, so if you haven’t read this series, please start with the first book, Gentlemen Prefer Succubi.
When her BFF (and really, her only girl friend) Remy, has to turn herself over to her controlling, egotistical master for a hundred years of servitude, the normally (mostly) self-centered Jackie takes charge to free Remy.
I love seeing this side of Jackie: she is tough, determined and mad-as-hell. With her own life mostly in order, Jackie is a different gal - not a damsel in distress, but a heroine in her own right. But the best part is seeing Zane *swoon* and Jackie together. Their love has blossomed without the stress of love triangle hanging over their heads.
This short story is a must for fans of this fabulous series.
This is not a starting point in the series so if you are a fan of the Succubus Diaries series and are current, you should check out this novella. This was a quick read and I really enjoyed it. It was nice to get a little more insight into Remy's past; how she lived as a human and how and why her change happened. As always any time with Zane (no matter how brief) is greatly appreciated and he was great in this novella. Hopefully Succubus, Interrupted will be enough to keep me satisfied until Succubi Are Forever comes out. It's gonna be a long wait.
This was a super short read. I enjoyed it, but not as much as I would have if there had been more of a plot to it. I didn't understand why Jackie and Remy were trying to break into the museum. That never made sense. I realize that they were trying to steal a manuscript, but why? It was never explained.
I did enjoy the rest of the story and was glad to see Jackie do something for Remy for a change. I love Zane. He amuses me to absolutely no end. I can't wait for the next full length installment of this series.

Oops I missed a book before this novella. >.> I didn't realize until the end, but it makes more sense why I was a bit, "Huh?" over this one...apart from the fact that it had been awhile since I read the first two books of the series.
So for me it was probably more of a 2 and I'm trying not to let the missing book have an influence on that.
Novellas usually rate lower than books even in the same series for me just because there can be so much missing. This is one of those where it feels like you read an excerpt instead of a whole book.
Yay....I was so happy to be back in the Succubus Diaries world and my only complaint is that it was way too short! I really love the relationship between Remy and Jackie...they are truly BFF's and are always there for each other.
Of course, the BEST part of this story was Zane. He is just such a bad boy but I do have to say I miss Noah.
Don't miss this if you are reading the Succubus Diaries series and thanks to Jill Myles for sending it out!
I love this short story! Zane and Jackie are so freaking cute I can't get enough. Oh, and Ethan and Remy... they are just as amazing. The one thing this story lacked was Noah. Even though he is doing this thing with Delia, I still miss him.
5/5 stars! Did I mention how much I enjoyed this story?

A chunk of Remy's backstory, a dose of Zane to tide us over, and our favorite ditsy succubus. What's not to like? It was nice getting a glimpse into Jackie's life with Zane as they search for the remaining halos. This short was a nice accompaniment to the main series, but would not stand up well on its own. But that's okay. It doesn't need to.
As always, I was giggling right through the story - even though it was short. Did I mention yet that I LOVE our bad boy Zane?? Can't say that I miss Noah.
This one was fun. I liked seeing more of Remy's past and loved how Jackie stood up for her. Zane's trick was a great one, but the choice of the game had me laughing.
