I'm not done this book yet but already I know it is just what I need. Each story brings tears to my eyes but also makes me feel a little closer to my best friend. I miss him so much sometimes. This book reminds me that in some ways I still have him around.
I am completely hooked on this book. I have always felt that there is something more. That we are and will always be deeply connected to our loved ones and that they can or try to communicate with us if we would only pay attention.
Excellent book. Very inspirational. Stories are short and very poignant. Good reading when seeking hope in seemingly hopeless situations, or when wondering what happens to loved ones when they die.
An example of one of the stories in this book is below:
"Grace, who didn't know the family secret-she has a brother who died who she was an infant-until he came to her in a dream and became her guardian angel."
this is another fantastic instalment of the wonderful chicken soup for the soul series focusing on angels and the realm of heaven, this book is amazing especially if your into the concept of angels, guardian angels. this magnificent book is filled with real people's experiences with their guardian angels. its a fascinating book to read the concept of guardian angels that can come in many forms whether be in the form of a passed loved one, to an animal or a an exceptionally beautiful being. if your into guardian angels this book is for you. Short, easy to read true stories of love and connections that go beyond the grave. People share personal experiences of dreams and conversations with friends or relatives who died. Many times they are given signs that all is well along with a message that they will be reunited someday in the future. Have a tissue handy as you discover how life goes on even after the soul leaves its' earthly body.
This amazing book will make you a believer that there IS 'life' on the other side, and that our loved ones who have passed are with us in spirit. I won't go into the specifics of these stories, but they will uplift and inspire you! I may just read this all over again. : )

This was my first Chicken Soup for the Soul book I have read. That being said I understand the basic premise behind it. 101 short stories. Really short stories. I enjoyed the stories but at the same time I was left wanting more. It was a bit dizzying for me when I would get used to a set of characters and then just a page or two later it was over. I am the type of reader that really gets involved in the characters and I thrive upon character development. I know I can't really get what I want in a couple of pages of a person's story.
So really it isn't the books fault I wasn't completely satisfied. It is my own. I knew what I was getting into.
That being said I really enjoyed many of the stories. Many of the writers are incredibly talented. I could relate to these stories because I - like many of the authors - have lost loved ones and had several signs that were really impossible for me to ignore.
All in all it was a good read and I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has lost someone and is still in the grieving process.
While this book was enjoyable, I took my time getting through it since I mainly read it in bed. The stories aren't as memorable to me as those in the other books, but there are some sweet stories. Some stories include reuniting with parents, friends, kids, and spouses. I actually felt a bit sad when I was reading, though, because there were so many stories about poor health, dying, and grief. It was hard to read some of these. Also, some of these stories seemed like they could be coincidental and didn't seem like supernatural miracles. Still, it seems reassuring that loved ones can visit and give signs of being nearby. I do wonder, though, if people are actually encountering demons in the form of their dead loved ones. I hope people are praying to God when they are seeing these spirits.
Another great Chicken Soup book. I tried reading only about 3 stories every night so that I could digest each one slowly and ponder the beauty of their message. I wish the book had 1 million pages so that I could read them for months and months. Many of the stories gave me goose bumps. Thank you for the book Amy Kitchen...it didn't disappoint.
This is a wonderful inspirational book. It is a great book for oneself to come to terms with a loss of a loved one. One of my favorites, but make sure when you are reading it that you find the right place and time because you will shed a few tears.
This Chicken Soup for the Soul book gives positive reinforcement of messages from beyond. It's a very inspirational book and makes you hope that messages do get sent from beyond. This book is a very quick read and I highly recommend it.
This book has some sweet stories in it & a few weird ones. It's a nice uplifting book that's handy to have sitting around. It's quick to just pick ir up and read a story here & there between life's business.
Inspiring and full of lovely short stories, the exact kind of book one needs to make a break from lifes more negative aspects! A true help to cheer up and enlighten and help strengthen our Faith.
The stories in this Chicken Soup collection all deal with loved ones who have died. They are stories full of hope, miracles, and love from heaven. I enjoyed every single one.
