Another spine-tingling ghost story from the master of the genre--and bestselling author--Betty Ren Wright.
When Chad's friend Jeannie invites him to visit her eccentric aunt, he soon finds he's in for more than a vacation. Aunt Rosebud runs a boarding house full of some really weird characters. As soon as Chad and Jannie arrive, bizarre things start happening. Chad's toothbrush floats around his room, a frightening Mummy appears-and disappears. And a panther leaps out of his closet. Chad desperately wants to go home, but he knows his father will never believe what's happening. ** Features Chad Weldon and Jeannie Nichols, following THE GHOST COMES CALLING & TOO MANY SECRETS

Fun story about a boy visiting strangers in Milwaukee and winding up staying in a spare room that's already inhabited by a ghost. Not really overly spooky. The fun in this book comes from playing tourist in Milwaukee (which is where I grew up, so lots of memories), and in the cast of crazy and eccentric characters. Boarding house stories are fun that way. Overall, a decent story though not as good as others by this author.
It's been a while since I've read this book. Seems like I didnt like it when I read it. Can't remember what the book was about though. Guess it didn't make an impression on me.
