Oli huvitav ja hea raamat. Rooma sõdurina ellujäämine ei ole kerge, kui keiser sind ohverdab impeeriumi laiendamise nimel. Siin oli veel igasuguseid omapäraseid asju, nt spaad, garnisoni elukorraldus jmt. Siit raamatust saab päris hea ülevaate, milline oli ühe sõduri elu ammusel Rooma riigi ajal.

Ngày lễ, thay vì lướt mxh vô vị thì tìm được cuốn này, truyện trẻ con nên quả thật chất lượng cao từ nội dung dễ hiểu, ngắn gọn , lôi cuốn cho đến hình ảnh mình họa hấp dẫn, đọc mà woah luôn ấy, ví dụ chi tiết quân lính phải tập luyện 25 năm chưa chắc được ra chiến trường, bảo sao một khi ra chiến trường lại hiếu chiến và không sợ chết đến thế, ngoài ra thời đại nào cũng vậy thôi, chế độ thứ bậc, những tệ nạn đều chẳng khác gì. Một cái hay nữa chính là nói tới đánh nhau nhưng thật ra là có rất nhiều việc khác như xây cầu đường mỗi nơi quân đội đi qua, thông qua quá trình quân ngũ thì quân nhân có thể học được nhiều kĩ năng có ích.

This book comes with high recommendation to those interested in the adventures of Asterix and Obelix.
For years have I wondered about the Romans and their army units trying to conquer the Gallia, but never have I bothered to search for the meaning of these terms. Well, better late than never, as they say. Ever so grateful to Lesley for explaining it all regarding Roman armie in a very visual manner and easy to understand for everyone.
Interested in the ancient history of Italy only? No worries, it's still a fun book to read with some useful information inside it ;)

A fun introduction to the life of a roman soldier around 117 CE, geared for kids but great for adults as well. Dare I say the illustrations are too cute? ;)
