Peretti is a natural storyteller who, as a youngster in Seattle, regularly gathered the neighborhood children for animated storytelling sessions. After graduating from high school, he began playing banjo with a local bluegrass group. He and his wife were married in 1972, and Peretti soon moved from touring with a pop band to launching a modest Christian music ministry. Peretti later spent time studying English, screen writing and film at UCLA and then assisted his father in pastoring a small Assembly of God church. Frank Peretti and his wife, Barbara Jean, live in the Western U.S. In spite of sudden fame and notoriety, Frank still lives a simple, well-rounded life that includes carpentry, banjo making, sculpturing, bicycling and hiking. He is also an avid pilot.

Peretti turns from fiction to real-life as he reflects on his own experience as a bullied child. Revelations are two-fold: 1) personal, in that Peretti has overcome enormous set-backs in life, including the harsh reactions of his peers in formative years, and 2) social, as we visit a virtual dissection in the anatomy of a bully.

No More Bullies By Frank Peretti is another Non-Fiction "Anti-Bully" book and the followup to "The Wounded Spirit" and "No More Victims." A very good teaching tool for everyone. This book hits home on a personal level.

Speaking from his own experience as a child and school student, Peretti walks you through the world of the wounded. He has sound information for those who are wounded, those who wound, and those adults who watch from the sidelines. As a teacher, who was wounded as a child and who wounded others herself so long ago, I now have a lot to think about before the new school terms starts.

A wonderful educational written book everyone should reads this book we are living in a violent culture including. with our people who paid service. There’s different kinds of abuse from newborn through adults ; autism, special needs, handicaps, learning disabilities, elderly with brain diseases, depression, etc and even animals. There’s also abuse in food department money and the LAW and our environment. However, look at the entertainment department , movies , books and magazines. Etc. Lastly abuse sales fast in our country., we are addict to abuse in this country., we are a broken country and need the Lord more than ever.....One day a year for “National Day of Prayer” not good enough..... everything in this earth belongs to the Lord and we are all abusing everything in this earth. Read your BIBLE. ...

The author provides valid reasoning for why human life is not valued today; combine the acceptance of evolution (survival of the fittest) with the lack of a set standard of morals and add in the false claim there is no truth and we have the audacity to be surprised there are bullies. Besides using his own life as an example, the author also explores solutions to this devastating crisis.
