Primele volume mi-au placut si chiar mult. Idei bune, intriga interesanta, cate doua cazuri tratate in paralel, super ok. Si, evident, persoana respectiva este prinsa pana in gat in situatiile alea...
More a 2.5⭐️ and that’s for the WHOLE thing individually I’d say books 1-3 would be 3⭐️ it’s the last 2 that brought the whole score down. Especially Riptide…what was I reading? Was it part of the same series? I was starting to get confused about what was happening and why I should even bother. Meaning…there was too much happening. Plus the boy meets girl and insta love is getting REALLY old…REALLY fast. 5 books and it’s STILL happening in EVERY ONE. Sorry for spoiling it but it’s pretty apparent real quick…
I’m also doing this because compulsion to read all the books before the necessary one (my book club book is #7 in this series so I HAVE a to read the beginners)
Great reads, all 5 volumes. Learning about the beginning relationship of Savich and Sherlock, and a few of their cohort as well. The typical “police procedural” takes on much more depth with federal procedures and Savich’s laptop. 5/5 stars for each volume. Highly recommend to those who enjoy who-done-its.
Love this series. You can read the books individually with out having read previous ones. She give enough info on established characters and relationships in each book to know what’s, what. If you only want to read one then the “The Maze” is the one to read. So good.
I read them all separately but they were a great read. Loved the drama and mystery with a little romance thrown in. Savich and Sherlock work well together and have a great chemistry!
Nothing was explained in the beginning, it was all over the place and very confusing. Everything about the book was stilted, could have been written by a child.
When I tried to look up the book I was reading, it only brought up this collection of the books 1 through 5...I read #5 Riptide.
It was very good and had me on the edge of my seat for most of it. I did figure out one of the "bad guys" early on, and it frustrated me that Becca did not see the problem.
I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good "thriller" and I will read more of Catherine Coulter's books in the future.
Next to Dean Koontz, you think you know what may be going on but you will be wrong and staying up all hours of night to continue reading till your eyes take control and close. And then thrive on when you can get back into these terrifying, diabolical stories. And hope you will never find yourself in any of these deadly situations. Great writing....I am hooked😱
Riptide. Worst book I’ve ever read to the end. I Have enjoyed reading her books and thought this one would get better it never did. I was so disappointed.
