I was pleasantly surprised by this book. It's not your typical wrestling biography. After 20+ years of putting up with the Hulkster, Linda certainly deserves her boy toy.

I got this book as a friend loaned it to me, what a joke,
Its awfully written, she makes her self out to be an innocent martyr, contradicts a lot of what was going on compared to what was said on the show/said on cam then changes the story again in her book. i also dislike how she blames the hulk for everything, for e.g Nick driving to fast and the accident he caused! (though how she can blame anyone but those directly involved is beyond me after all Nick is an adult) she blames the hulk for marriage break down, the life style they had and any problems, yet she had no problems when he was at the top making millions of $$$$$, it takes 2 to make a problem not 1!! Its ridiculous, rather than tainting the hulk, I have sympathy for him! and he had a lucky escape. She wants to lead the ''single life'' like a 21 year old child, grow up!!
I am sure they had their ups and downs I dont believe the majority of whats said in this book. I wanted to get out my violin and play for her at one point. Dont get me wrong, I am sure life was hard, life is hard for everyone, try having no money at all! but there is no way she was as Innocent as she tries to make out. Some of the stuff she notes in the book, people wouldnt tolerate IRL, for eg, all of the women hulk was apparently sleeping with; well she allowed it to continue didnt she? the first time id have sympathy, but after that she knew it was happening and allowed it continued then all my sympathy went out the door! shes a fool. Then she starts putting stupid recepies in her book? like wtf? is that to bulk it up.

Well first of all I love sports and watch many but not wrestling cause to me that is not sport but fakery. I am sure they have to use special care and perhaps some techniques to not hurt each other. but I just do not like show wrestling. I do enjoy watching MMA though.

I had heard of Hulk Hogan. watched a few episodes of their "reality" TV show. Perhaps 4 or so so not many,
And I did see Lind and her new boy toy in another reality show called Couples Therapy. I still do not know why they were there. Must have been because she needs the publicity.

Anyway I started reading this and after just 2 chapters I am already sick of her. Everything she did or her parents is great. She is constantly bragging but that is not even the correct word I am looking for. Cause that means it is all true. Yeah in her own mind.

the boaster ; the swaggerer ; the tinhorn ; the swank-pot ; the swanker ; the braggart ; the show-off ; the yapper

Perhaps I will give this another chapter but if it stays like this, I have better books to read.

Linda Hogan's book to be a very quick read filled with a very rose-tinted glasses view of her life and her families life but she takes the glasses off for Hulk. He is given very little positivity in this book.

Linda gives her side of the story about their relationship and the issues that she claims ruined the long marriage.

she wrote in a very low class manner about bedroom issues that we don't want to read about and could have been left out.

Is this book all fact? No chance but neither is it all fiction. I think like all stories, it would have aspects glossed over to make the author look better (easy to do that as a writer). I think Linda's life would not have been tremendous at times, Hulk was a huge star and as such would have had temptations that he could not avoid.

Read this book in the knowledge that you are getting some of the real story, read Hulk's book to get another version and try and sort out what really happened (it would have been somewhere in between).

I read Hulk Hogan's book earlier this year, and he makes himself look all innocent, and you feel sorry for the guy. Then you read Linda Hogan's account of his cheating, and you can see that "The Hulk", isn't so innocent after all. I believe he lied many times in his book. There is probably exaggeration on both their parts, but it would be really good to read these two books back-to-back to compare. This book really held my interest and I read it in two days. I wish the best for her, and I believe her more than I believe him.

Did anyone really believe anything that came out of this womans mouth?? Really did she think that she could tame the Hulk?? Did she really think he wouldnt cheat?? And now she's with a 20 year old boy, yet she was upset that Hulk was doing the same thing, even though they were married... Read it for kicks, and that's all

This is one of those "I can't sleep" ebooks. She repeats herself a lot. Is it because she's trying to convince the reader of what she's saying? And the lists. Dear god, the lists. This makes me think there aren't really editors anymore.

Not a real intelligent read. Nice to hear her side of the story. Borrow it. Don't buy it.

Nothing shocking here: the tale of the dissolution of a marriage that sounded pretty fractured from the start. It ends on a hopeful note, though, which I sincerely hope is genuine.

Puts Hulk Hogan in a different light to me after reading this. His infidelity that destroyed a marriage and the lessons learned from it by Linda Hogan.

I am beginning to have zero hope for decent wrestling, or wrestling adjacent, memoirs. Of course this was written a bit after all of their (Linda and Terry) dirty laundry came to light years and years ago. So first, read this book with all of that drama in mind.

As far as interesting things about Linda's life goes -- Uh, well..there really isn't any.

The biggest takeaway from this book is she was saddened when her marriage ended, wanted the "truth" out there and she is finding herself again. It is the same thing we have all seen before just repackaged. I would not recommend reading it for the average reader and as a wrestling fan? Nothing to see here.

I’m not sure what I expected from this book. The good thing is the book was not too long. Having read Hogan’s book on their divorce, it covers a lot of the same ground, only the writing here is truly terrible and she takes zero responsibility for anything regarding their divorce. I’m not one to defend Hulk Hogan, but this divorce was a heel versus heel program. Both of them come across as whiny and entitled. Hulk Hogan at least is somewhat charming and entertaining. She’s very unlikable and completely lacking in self-awareness.

this recounts her life and marriage to hogan. when it is about hogan it moves along well. when she has children and stays at home it lumbers.

eventually something that she is unaware of is happening and that is never told, so, the reader can only wonder. according to her she is a great wife and mom. her son ends up in jail. pix.

Every story has two sides so it only seems logical that Linda Hogan would want to speak out after her very public divorce from the Hulkster. That being said I say I believe about 30% of this book, with 20% being "possible with a slight exageration" and the other 50% is just PR spinning babble to make people like her. Don't get me wrong I'm not all pro-Hulk but really this book didn't help me one big like either one of them.

There are random "dirty" details thrown into the book like what type of sex Hulk liked, or how she lost her virginity but other than that this book lacked details and dirt that people are looking for.

She has her story hulk has is. I feel sorry that she had to put up with his nonsense. Linda should have called hulk out many times when she had the feeling about Christina and I would have never let her stay at my house. I hope she finds the peace and man that she deserves to be happy with. Money can't buy happiness is the true story here.

I was pleasantly surprised to find this book at the Dollar store! I figured even if it as not a good read, it was only a dollar so I purchased it. I am glad I did, it is actually really good and very interesting to find out how much of a hectic/ double life Linda had. I feel for her and look at Hulk Hogan in a completely different light now (not a fan anymore). Fast, easy, interesting read.

I thought I was buying a book by an American Indian author. The too shallow ex-wife of Hulk Hogan whines about his cheating. What did she expect?
