Dogs are more than just a pet, especially to the many people's lives who they have saved. Eve, the Rottweiler, pulled her owner from a burning truck minutes before it exploded and Grizzly Bear, a St. Bernard, saved his owner from a real Grizzly bear mother who was enraged as she was accompanied by her cub. There are 15 more stories of the heroism of dogs saving the lives of humans in this book and some photos of these amazing animals are included in the center pages. This is a great book to teach students that dogs can be and are more than pets and can be trained to perform amazing tasks.

"Dog to The Rescue" is a pretty good book for a childrens book. My favorite part was when the dog heard a grenade coming in and so the dog grabbed it and threw it back at them and killed seven of them. The dogs name was Caesar. I recommend this to children and to people interested in dogs. TB

I found this book when going through a box of things. I read it and I’m giving it to my grandson. Seventeen dogs rescued their owners, neighbors, or solders in the army. I found it so interesting the courage these dogs had. From fire, ice and water to guns and making it across enemy territory.

I enjoyed this book. The chapters were short and easy to read. These dogs truly were heroes. I didn't love the blurbs at the beginning of each chapter. I felt they told the story prematurely. But overall I enjoyed the book.

1 If you were in fire-hazard when you are sleeping at night and your familily menbers are also sleeping, what would you do first?
My answer → Firstly, I would seek for my family with handkerchife on my mouse.

2 In this book, the mistress of the brave dog gave steaks to the dog. If you are rescued by your pet, what would you give to your pet?
My answer → I would give so much satsumaimo (sweet potatos) to my pet because satsumaimo is my dear dog's favorite.

I thought dogs are very smart animals. They also admire their mistresses. I am always removed my stress in busy days by my pet. When I get home, my dog, Coro waves his tail, and he looks so happy. I make him happy, and he makes me happy. I noticed this through reading this book. I will appreciate my dog.

This book was about dogs that saved their owners. My favorite story was Dutchess. Dutchess saved his owner by jumping over a barbed wire fence to save his owner from drowning.

The one I liked second was Eve. She saved her owner from a flaming truck. Even though she disobeyed her owner. The owner told her no because she (the owner) was in a wheel chair. But Eve just dragged her out.

The next one I like best was Chips. Dogs normally end up in the pound. 1942 Chips bit the garbageman but ended up in the Army instead. Which is cool since normally when they bite someone they go to the pound. But he went in the army instead.
