Pooh plants a pumkin then eats honey and waits, and waits and eats honey. Will it ever become a pumpkin?

Nice fall story to coincide with fall studies and Halloween.
Classroom note: Don't forget to use character voices during read aloud.

One of the better character-based early readers. Pooh gets a seed from Rabbit, plants it, and watches it through all the stages - seed, seedling, vine, flower, little green ball, then finally, pumpkin. Pooh takes good care of it and is very patient, then all his friends come to cut it into a Jack-o-Lantern together. The subject is much more about gardening than Halloween.
