Questo manga è la mia confort zone. Per quanto possa essere molto banale magari, per la storia che tratta, la semplicità dei dialoghi e dei disegni mi rilassa e mi commuove. La parte finale in cui Yuki finalmente parla dei suoi sentimenti è quella che ho apprezzato di più, si parla anche più della disabilità uditiva, e penso che stia diventando molto più toccante e profondo. THE WORLD IS NOT READY FOR THIS ANIME!!!! 😤😤😤

Oh my goodness, I FINALLY read this latest volume only to read it TWICE back-to-back because I loved it so much! (That's been true for every volume honestly LOL) The story continues to be so so so beautiful and I felt tears (during both reads!) forming at the end of this volume!

I consistently admire Yuki's courage and how she is always steadily moving forward and looking forward to the future. I feel in this volume we really see her courage shine because I LOVED the question that Itsuomi asked, but it was hard seeing Yuki almost talk down upon herself as she thought about his question? I don't think that's quite the right word as it was more of having negative self-talk, but all I wanted to do was just bear hug her!

I'm so thankful for Itsuomi and their relationship because he consistently always brings the swoon (LOL), but greater than that, you can really see his heart in all of his actions. There is never any doubt of how deeply he loves Yuki and will do everything in his ability to grow closer to her and support her. Seeing his reaction at the end was equally powerful as Yuki sharing because he saw her heart and got it. I mean, he tells her in the opening chapter he sees her, but I felt like the ending also showed how much he really does.

Now Oushi…goodness he creates so many mixed emotions! As someone who is trying to interfere with the ship, I'm surprised I don't hate him honestly. I think he is a compelling character who frustrates me to no end, but it's hard to hate him when he is vulnerable and KNOWS he missed his chance. Even more frustrating is how he has great and supportive friends…who are giving him all the wrong advice. :p Like ughhhhh! With the encouragement they are giving him, it makes me nervous about what he will do later on because I don't think it's too far fetched that he WILL make a move at some point in time.

Despite that I don't like his friend's advice, I LOVED the theater chapter! That was AMAZING and I wish I could go into depth about it (because the art and panels were chef's kiss!!), but I don't want to spoil it because that chapter is such a fun one for the most part!

I am crushed that we have to wait until April for the next volume because this volume was everything and more! EAGERLY looking forward to reading more!!

A nice check-in to our favorite couple, Yuki and Itsuomi. Vol. 7 picks up right where Vol. 6 left off, and from this point onwards, we explore the next stage of Yuki's and Itsuomi's blossoming relationship: moving in!

In the beginning of this volume, Itsuomi proposes to living together full-time with Yuki. Even though he plans on traveling to Japan to pursue his teaching position within the next two years, he still wants to explore the next stage of their relationship. While Yuki is surprised and possibly excited by this new possibility, she's also confronted with the potential challenges that may be ahead of them. While dating might be bliss right now, but can their relationship withstand the daily challenges associated with her disability? This volume in particular explores this question in depth but in the end, these two are simply made for each other and no matter what, I have faith in these characters to overcome any and all obstacles.

However, with that being said, I'm not too pleased with the storyline focused on Oushi. Even though he very well knows that Yuki is already in a committed relationship, he still remains a thorn in Yuki's and Itsuomi's sides. Also, at this point, I'm ready for Emma and Shin to just be a couple already, for the sake of Emma finally leaving Itsuomi alone.

Lastly, on a happier note, Rin-chan and Kyouya finally becomes a couple! Would have been nice if we had more scenes with these two, but there's also the next installment!

Trigger Warnings:FMC hasn’t been able to hear since she was born

As always, I enjoyed this volume, I am dreading catching up cuz waiting for chapters will kill me. Imma copy and paste the stuff I said in my other review so I can get to spoilers: Our FMC is deaf, I’m not sure if it is a trigger but I have added it just in case. The authors seem to have put a lot of research and the sign language is in Japanese. They have a whole process of how they figure out the sign language aspect of the manga which I found fascinating. The anime did a good job animating the sign language. Especially the different tones of sign language, some being soft and graceful while others are harsh and straightforward. I LOVE our FMC Yuki, she knows what she wants and goes for it. And Itsuomi our MMC has so much rizz, the guy is so handsome and dreamy. Some people have mixed thoughts on his actions but I personally think this guy is a walking green flag. They both communicate so there is drama but not as much as other mangas, this is more cute. Please do yourself a favour and watch the anime. Then come back and read the manga so we can fangirl together.


Yuki runs into Itsuomi in the subway and after a helpful interaction, she can’t get him off her mind. When she realizes the guy is someone in her friend’s class, she gets to know him.

We are back to Itsu’s apartment right when Itsu and Yuki start kissing. They kiss for a bit and while it’s happening, Itsu asks if Yuki is okay. He is extra touchy and says she looks like a cute bird. Yuki says that she wants Itsu to see her as a girl and Itsu puts her hand on his chest to show her that his heart beats as fast as hers, saying it’s not cuz he is drunk. He says that he sees her and his heart skip a beat when she looks at him. He says he finds everything she expresses with her hands beautiful, he finds her expressions captivating. He says that a childish part of him that he thought left his heart long ago is awakened by Yuki. He felt that his world was dark but ever since Yuki came into his life, it feels like the morning came. He finds her so adorable and special. Honestly whenever Itsu speaks from his heart, it has my heart fluttering. Then he says he likes the nape of her neck but Yuki’s stomach grumbles. Itsu gets up to give Yuki a drink but when he sees her, he says that he is a man. He asks if she thinks he just wants hugs and kisses from her. Then he kisses her again but it seems like she also reaches for him, this time he touches her back under her shirt, hot damn. Yuki feels like she needs to tell Itsu about Oushi so she is hesitant. Itsu asks if it is about Oushi and says that Oushi called him to tell him that he hugged Yuki. We didn’t see that part of the call in the last volume. Oushi was mature enough to tell him I guess but I wish Yuki told him beforehand. Itsu asks Yuki how Oushi hugged her and she shows him. Itsu takes Yuki to the balcony to sober up, helping her put on some slippers. He is surprised that Oushi told him. Itsu asks Yuki if she is aware of Oushi’s feelings for her. Yuki feels bad, apologizing for telling him at a time like this. She feels guilty and can’t look Itsu in the eye. We see the call and Oushi tells Itsu that he hugged Yuki. Itsu says he thought Oushi doesn’t go after girls that are already dating and Oushi calls him out for being with Emma, asking who she was. Oushi acts super childish on the phone, screaming half the time. Itsu asks why Oushi likes Yuki saying he can be honest since they are friends but Oushi screams they aren’t. Itsu says that they should all get together someday, the three of them.


Itsu takes Yuki into another room and says he wasn’t going to ask her this but he has a spare room. He says it is a bit spacious for him and he was thinking of moving. But he asks Yuki if she can move in with him instead. Yuki doesn’t know what to say and Itsu says she doesn’t have to give an answer but he seems sad. He sighs and Yuki can tell he doesn’t seem the same. They watch a movie and sleep facing each other, she is on the sofa and he is on the floor. The next day, Yuki can tell Itsu isn’t his same happy self. It is a bit soon to move in together but I like them so much I want them together all the time, yuh I know, not healthy but WHATEVA. They run into Itsu’s friends and they call Itsu “Nagi,” I guess that’s his first name. Itsu introduces Yuki as his girlfriend and everyone is loud but Yuki can’t hear them. Itsu signs to Yuki to fill her in on what they are saying. Yuki is so cute so she uses gestures to fit in the conversation. Itsu was so sweet, he signed to Yuki to include her and Yuki felt so happy. He tells Yuki to sign what she wants to say and he will translate, she asks for their names and he tells her. The friends ask if Itsu is nice and she says yes and they ask what Yuki likes the best about Itsu. Itsu says that he wanted to know the answer. Right as Yuki is going to sign it, Itsu stops her hands and says that he wants to know in private instead. Everyone finds it so swoony and leave.


Yuki meets with Rin and Rin tells her that she is officially going out with Kyo, she has a couple ring. Kyo and his girlfriend broke up before their wedding so Kyo is careful about getting into relationships. Rin and Kyo are almost at the stage of moving in together. Yuki is nervous about moving in with Itsu but Rin says this shows that Itsu loves her. Yuki drops her pen and doesn’t realize until Rin picks it up for her. She feels down since she misses things from her hearing. She works her shift and starts to think about all the ways she makes mistakes. She thinks that if she lives with Itsu, he will see her as a burden. She won’t hear things and might create more messes and he doesn’t see that side of her cuz they don’t live together. This had me teary-eyed, Yuki was thinking down on herself because she was scared of moving forward with Itsu when he clearly won’t care. But she knows this isn’t good and tries to think positively. She gets her first pay cheque and her boss says she hopes Yuki can travel with her boyfriend soon. While she leaves, she runs into Oushi who tells her a loud sound is coming from her. It was her phone, some schedule notification. Yuki thinks that it’s a good thing this didn’t happen in class, thinking of herself as a burden. But Oushi tells her that mistakes happen and not to worry. He shows her that he broke his phone, and tells her he accidentally took his friend’s electronic dictionary. Yuki wonders why Oushi is nice to her now but then Oushi grabs her hand. I hate how he is touchy with her when she didn’t give him permission for that. Especially cuz he knows that she and Itsu are serious, I am not sure why he keeps doing shit like this. He takes her to a corner and it’s cuz he saw Itsu. Yuki is confused and then she is on a wall and Oushi has his head near her shoulder. Yuki thinks that being alone with Oushi makes her uncomfortable. He was close to kissing her and she is confused. She moves away and says she has a boyfriend. The more he acts this way, the more she realizes he might like her. She says if people see them alone, they will think differently. I am so glad she finally said something, put those boundaries up girl. We already see Itsu doing it, so I was glad she finally put her food down. Oushi’s friends give some food coupon so Oushi gives it to Yuki. He tells her not to use it on Itsu as he walks away.


Oushi goes out with his friends and gets drunk while pouring his heart out about Yuki. He and his friends don’t think the relationship will last and there was a weird point where they have a fairytale scenario. I didn’t really care for this, I just wanted to get back to Itsu and Yuki. Emma visits Shin and sees a girl fangirling over him. Someone sees Emma and asks if it bothers her and if something is going on between her and Shin. When Shin sees her, he takes her right away and says she has pretty hair. He says he can make it prettier and Emma is flustered. Then he asks if she wants to go out together and Emma says they are friends. So he says they can go out as friends. At first Emma is hesitant and Shin thinks it is because she isn’t over Itsu. But Emma says yes and he is shocked. Itsu texts Yuki asking to meet at his place after he plays soccer with some kids in the neighbourhood. He is honestly so sweet, he does random shit throughout his day but he’s always having fun and making connections. Seeing him play soccer with the kids was adorable. When the kids don’t want Itsu to leave, he says he has to see someone really important to him. The kids ask if they are important and he says he will come play with them again if they invite him. Yuki says she is going to clean her brother’s place and then meet Itsu. While she is cleaning, she thinks that he can be a slob. She thinks that he broke up with his girlfriend since he is so messy and realizes that even though he can hear, he is messy. She knows Itsu has something important to tell her so she hurries. Her brother pays her some money. She sees his disposable camera and he writes on a board that she can have it. He doesn’t know sign language so he uses a board or she reads his lips. She runs to Itsu’s place and he tells her that she didn’t have to run.


Itsu seems nervous, his smile doesn’t seem the same so Yuki is worried. Before they get to his apartment, he kisses her against the wall. He wraps his arm around her and tells her he has something important to say. My heart dropped when he said that after a year and a half, he has to leave Japan for 2 years. Yuki was accepting, saying that’s what makes Itsu, Itsu, which makes him relieved since he thought she was going to break up with him. I hate separations in anything, long-distance relationships are so sad to read about. Yea some work but I just didn’t wanna see that happen to these two. Anyway, Itsu says that while he is in Japan, he wants to live with Yuki. It was refreshing to see Itsu nervous since he is always so chill about everything. It also shows he values his relationship with Yuki. He tells everyone including Yuki but you see it more and more every volume. He says he wants to meet her parents sometime and says she can meet his. Yuki didn’t realize Itsu can be so clingy but she found it cute. I got tears when Yuki started telling Itsu that she might become a burden to him. She starts telling him she can’t hear when the phone rings and can’t listen to music. She says that she can be clumsy and forget where she left things. Itsu is shocked and tries to stop her but Yuki keeps going. She says despite it all, she wants to live with him. The volume ends on a cliffhanger and boy I wanna start the next one but it is late. Once I catch up, bruh it’s gonna kill me waiting for updates, jaysus. I am really scared for the future volumes though, I hope they aren’t doing long distance for two years like please no. And if they do, at least have them visiting each other often cuz I can’t handle seeing two people who love each other being separated okay, I need cuteness and happiness.

<33333333 really appreciated the emphasis on friendship and communicating honest feelings in this volume. yes, oushi needs to cool it bc too little too late! i still find it so interesting how yuki’s family didn’t learn to become fluent in sign to effectively communicate with her, but alas.

2.75/5 ewwww i hate when people speak of bein a man as a “obviously” moment for them wantin sexual things… itsuomi ain’t what i want… him sayin “do i look like the guy content with just huggin n kissin” is literally equivalent to sayin “you’d think i’d be with you without sex?” - askin to move in together when they’ve barely been together for any substantial amount of time is crazy… i though this series would be the truth ughhh… n meet her parents already? omg… am glad yuki notices how quickly this shit is movin… the way the mangaka draws the one guy’s lips pisses me off… yuki realizin she’s neglectin her feelings :(, ughhh nooo she’s thinkin of herself as a burden rather than someone with needs n aghhhh, she’s talkin about their fast pace but i feel like she’s considerin it as romantic versus a serious concern, oushi is so fuckin pushy don’t touch her… am glad yuki mentioned herself havin a bf cause i want her to stick up for herself more (though obvs i get this is uncomfy n difficult), i get why itsuomi teared up - am really saddened that yuki started promotin herself with all her positive qualities like cookin n cleanin…

There were some sweet moments in this one, and the final panels had me tearing up. There are parts of me that just wants to know what it is that Yuki wants in life outside of Itsuomi. We, as readers, know clearly what Itsuomi's goals are in life, but why should Yuki not have any goals mentioned or expressed beyond wanting to travel abroad with Itsuomi?
I don't know. I love this story, but at the same time it reads as though the men are all working towards something, and have such strong principles. While the women are not as ambitious or future minded.

Several small storms that would become the peak of the conflict began to pile up little by little. I don't think Itsu is 100% honest with Yuki, but considering Itsu's character ((his brain always whirring, thinking as he's forming sentences and talking, and that's one of small proof that Itsu is a considerate speaker)) I think that what is kept secret is to protect Yuki's feelings and not a secret that can shake up their relationship. I really love him huhuhu 😭

Such a husband material! Very understanding and very caring!


Anyway, character-design wise, I really like Shin. He's so pretty and I adore pretty boys ((—well, who doesn't?)). But Itsuomi is a heart-robber. His behavior and how he act around Yuki shsjsdkshsdkgshk— my heart is not build for his kind of tenderness!

Chapter 25-28

OH MY GOD THEY'RE SO PERFECT FOR EACH OTHER, I LOVE THEEMMM. Again they have a reaalllyy good practice of communication with each other, Itsuomi about to make their relationship moving quickly but after the last chapter we knew the reason why. Also I like that Oushi have friends he can trust but I would like it better if they don't try to make Oushi come in between couple please, like learn manner bro.

Immer noch total schön und ein toller Wohlfühl-Shojo, aber langsam fängt es an sich zu ziehen. Das Love Triangle stört mich nicht mal so sehr, als dass die Bände immer dünner werden, der Preis gleich bleibt und in der Handlung wir kein Stück vorankommen.
