Zenda's school is taking a weekend trip to Aquaria, one of Azureblue's watery moons. Everyone else is excited about the trip, but Zenda can't shake the terrible feeling that something bad is going to happen. Sure enough, Zenda finds herself separated from the group with her nemesis, Alexandra. The two girls must put aside their differences to brave the dangers of Aquaria-as well as escape from the mysterious monster born of their own doubt and fear. Besides finding her musings, Zenda must also find her way home-but first, she must confront her fears.
This whole series is great! These but are really small and take minimal effort to read but, they're worth the time. The whole series is about a girl named Zenda, and she lives on the make-believe planet of Azureblue, where her parents Verbena and Vertiver are owners of the largest greenhouse on the planet. Life on Azureblue depends on plants to survive as a planet. So, when her parents are tending to their plants, Zenda sneaks off to see her gazing ball. Now, a gazing ball is a crystal ball that you get when you are twelve and a half and it will give you twelve musings, lessons, on your trip to becoming an adult to help you get through it all. When Zenda goes to see her gazing ball it breaks and she cannot get it back!!! The whole series is the story of how she tries to get her gazing ball back and get through life as a teenager. It's a great book!
