"Hikaru Takabayashi voudrait vivre discrètement, sans se faire remarquer. Mais alors qu'elle s'inscrit dans un internat pour jeunnes filles de bonne famille, elle se retrouve dans la même chambre qu'Izumi Kido, la coqueluche du lycée. Et pour tout arranger, Izumi se révèle être en fait ... un garçon!
This one was better, but this series has a problem with predatory men and trivializing their behavior. Hikaru is still too passive, but I'm looking forward to seeing her become a bigger player in her own life.
Well, I think it was better than volume 1. Hikaru is a good character and I like reading about here. Izumi is good, too but I still can't figure him out. Not sure I like the idea of a student-professor relationship.
the gayest straight people panic i’ve ever laid eyes on. this volume got funnier as it went, but i’m knocking it one star because i hate the teacher/student relationship trope.
This reads extremely juvenile & many things don’t age well. Almost instant love, cliche, student teacher, unlikely pairs, falling in love but can’t tell. The writing in here is pretty meh too.
The main female character is still a little too passive for my liking, but I'll keep on with the story for a little more just to see where it goes. There's only mild interest in this title in my library system for now.
There is just something so entertaining about these. They are silly and soppy and girlie but still there is just something about them that I'm just loving. When I put my finger on it I'll let you know!
