Nothing overly 'wow' in this volume, save for the revelation that Heiji knows Conan's true identity. The cases themselves aren't going to stand out amongst the hundreds of others that Aoyama has imagined up, but they're decent. A quick, fun read, but not an overly memorable one.

In fact I was on such a roll of happily getting spooked, I NEEDED TO KNOW HOW THAT LAST CASE FROM VOL 12 ENDED! And then I couldn't put this one down either, oops. Very varied scenarios in this one!

As a kid, I always thought nobody ever figures out that Conan is Shin'ichi. I'm glad to be proven wrong.

El caso que más me ha gustado ha sido el del pintor, por todos y cada uno de los detalles que hay presentes, ya sea por cómo intenta hacer parecer que lo ocurrido ha sido un suicidio o por todas las pistas que ha dejado la víctima para que Conan sepa cómo pillarle. Aunque, en verdad, me han gustado todos los caso por igual. Gracias a dios he podido leer bien todos los diálogos y he comprendido gran parte de las resoluciones, aunque hay algo que no me termina de quedar claro. Y, bueno, qué deciros de los personajes. Están bastante bien construido, pero siempre se les verá de cara a algún crimen. Como final del primer volumen, no es sobresaliente, pero está muy bien.

Kirja alkoi edellisen osan päätöstarinan ratkaisulla. Joten jos haluaa saada kaiken irti tästä osasta, täytyy lukea edellinen kirja 😁
Kirjassa oli kaikkeaan 3 kokonaista tarinaa ja todellakin edellisen kirjan viimeisen tarinan päätös. Kaikki rikokset olivat mielenkiintoisia ja niitä oli hauska pähkäillä itsekin. Ajoittain rikoksen ja niiden ratkaisut ovat sidoksissa japanilaiseen kulttuuriin ja tuolloin voi olla haastavaa keksiä itse ratkaisua, mutta näin on vain silloin tällöin. Useimmiten ratkaisun avaimet on tarjolla kun vain osaisi aina nähdä ne 😅
Koska kuvitus on niin selkeää ja siistiä, on tarinaa helppo seurata. Samalla pääsee etsimään kirjailijan vinkkejä ympäristöstä 😄

So basically now when we have this development in the plot.
Just saying. I'm pumped to read the next volumes.
And the best part, I don't have to be afraid in being addicted to this manga since it's like 900 CHAPTERS AND I ITS FINE FOR ME CUZ LETS DIVE IN THIS!!!

No cliffhanger in this volume :)
Case 1: We finish off the case from the previous volume.
Still loving Harley :)
Case 2: Serena's sister invites Rachel and Conan to their beach-side home to meet her fiancé and his family. During a storm in the middle of the night, they all witness what appears to be the fiancé murdering his father. Case solved? Not quite, turns out he has two twin brothers, and Conan needs to figure out which of the three is the murderer.
This one was an interesting case in that, as Conan and the gang all witnessed the murder, but surprise--triplets! I can't say it was too spectacular otherwise, just your usual run of the mill ones, but that's not to say it's bad. I did enjoy seeing Conan struggle a little to knock someone out. Though it was a little obvious It was also nice to see Serena again, definitely an entertaining character xD
Case 3: Richard gets invited to be interviewed by a painter. Before the meeting begins, the painter kills his mistress and disguises it as a suicide, with Richard and the gang all seeing her drop from her balcony. Conan is suspicious from the start, but can he prove the painter did it?
As much fun as it might be to try to guess who done it, it's sometimes fun to see the murder from the start, and watch Conan piece together the clues that all lead up to the crime. Wild how quickly the painter came up with such a complex way to fake a suicide on the spot though. xD
Case 4: Doctor Agasa brings along Conan and the detective kids to the filming studio of Gomera (aka Godzilla). The kids, minus Conan, are all excited to meet one of their favorite heroes. After being shown around the set, and checking out the various monster costumes, the children all see something else--a murder!
These poor children just seeing people getting killed or dead bodies left and right xD (They always seem absolutely unphased though, no PTSD or trauma here lol!) I loved seeing Gomera walking around the miniature town, and the kid's denial of the movies all being fake. It does end a bit sad though, and I appreciate that Conan/Jimmy isn't strict black/white when it comes to this stuff, he does have empathy for the guilty party, even though the crimes are wrong.
Not my most favorite cases, but they are all still great. :)

Eigentlich würde Conan alias Schinischi sich ja viel lieber um die Männer in schwarz kümmern, aber weil es zurzeit einfach keine neuen Hinweise zu ihnen gibt, greift er Kogoro unter die Arme oder gerät mit den Detektiv Boys unfreiwillig in neue Fälle. In diesem Band wird zuerst der Fall von dem Sherlock Holmes Treffen gelöst. Anschließend muss Conan noch das Rätsel um Drillinge und einen Mord, sowie den an einer Zeichnerin lösen, bei dem viel getrickst wurde. Und zum Schluss geht es um ein Filmmonster, das einen Mord verübt, aber wer steckt unter dem Kostüm ?!

Das ist der dreizehnte Band der Manga-Reihe "Detektiv Conan" und auch, wenn die Fälle in sich abgeschlossen sind, sollte man der Reihe nach lesen, da die Grundgeschichte immer wieder fortgesetzt wird. Es ist als Taschenbuch, sowie e-book erhältlich. Es kommen zwei abgeschlossene Fälle vor und der erste Teil eines weiteren. Zudem wird ein Fall aus dem vorherigen Band zuende erzählt.
Meine Meinung:
Endlich wieder Conan, Kogoro und jede Menge Fälle, die mich super unterhielten, auch wenn es durchaus ein paar Längen gab und mir einfach etwas fehlte. Ich hatte viel Spaß mit diesem Band und es war einfach zu herrlich, wie Kogoro wieder ganz er selbst war. Geheimnisse wurden gelüftet, neue Freundschafte geschlossen und Täter überführt, die sich so sicher wähnten...bis Conan wieder ihre Tricks durchschaute und alles auflöste.
Der erste Fall ist der zweite Teil von dem geteilten aus Band zwölf. Conans Geheimnis gerie in Gefahr und ich liebte diese Stelle mit Hatori einfach, weil sie so herrlich war. Er und Conan sind einfach ein tolles Team und die Auflösung des Fall gefiel mir super. Allerdings verstehe ich nicht so ganz, warum man die paar Seiten nicht in den anderen Band mit reingenommen hat, aber das ist ja Ansichtssache.
Im zweiten Fall ging es um Drillinge und den Mord an ihren Vater. Alle schienen ein wasserfestes Alibi zu haben und dadurch, dass sie sich wie ein Ei dem anderen glichen, konnte man nicht sagen, wer Tetsuharo wirklich ermordete. War es Yuzo oder doch Tatsuji oder Taichi ? Ich fand diese Episode sehr spannend und interessant und auch, wenn ich durch den Anime wusste, wer der Täter war, war der Manga super unterhaltsam und die Auflösung wurde klasse präsentiert.
Im dritten Fall stürzte eine Zeichnerin in den Tod und Conan ist sich sicher, dass ihr Chef Hanaoko dahinter steckte. Die beiden schien mehr zu verbinden, aber wie soll er es beweisen ? Diesen Fall fand ich schön raffiniert und in diesem Band ist er mein Liebling. Conans Ermittlungen waren spannend und die Selbstsicherheit des Täters amüsant.
Im vierten und letzten Fall treffen die Detective Boys während einer Studitour mit Professor Agasa auf ihre liebstes Filmmonster, welches später aber leider zum Täter wird. Eigentlich steckt immer Shugo in dem Kostüm, aber wer trug es wirklich, als es den Filmproduzenten Osamu ermordete ? An sich gefiel mir der Fall echt gut, aber irgendwie fehlte mir auch etwas und trotz der spannenden Momente wurde es mir zu hastig erzählt und mir fehlte etwas das Raffinierte. Ein netter Fall, aber definitiv kein Highlight und ehrlich gesagt gefiel es mir als Anime auch etwas besser.
Der Zeichenstil gefiel mir wieder sehr und ich hatte keine Probleme, dem Geschehen zu folgen. Toll war es, wie genau die Mimik der Charaktere dargestellt wurde und man immer ein gutes Gefühl für den Fall hatte.
Fazit:
Eine tolle Mischung, bei der zwar nicht jeder Fall mich hundertprozent begeistern konnte, mich aber super unterhielt und für kurzweiligen Lesespaß sorgte. Kogoro war wieder ganz er selbst und durch die neue Freundschaft zu Haiji gab es neue Impulse für die gesamte Geschichte. Von mir gibt es:

INHALT: Der erste Fall ist noch der vorherige des 12. Bandes, der nun endlich aufgeklärt wird.
Beim 2. Fall ist Ran mit Conan und Sonoko in deren Ferienhaus. Plötzlich wird in der Nacht der Hausherr des Nachbarhauses vor deren Augen ermordet. Der Fall scheint klar zu sein, doch der Täter ist ein Drilling.
Im 3. Fall hat sich eine begnadete, aber unbekannte Künstlerin vermeintlich selbst vom Balkon gestürzt. Doch Conan hat Zweifel und kommt schnell dem Täter auf die Schliche. Doch wie will er seine schuld beweisen?
Im 4. Fall besichtigen Conan und seine Freunde zusammen mit Professor Agasa ein Filmstudio, indem die bekannten Filme um das Monster Gomera gedreht werden. Plötzlich wird der Produzent von Gomera getötet, doch wer steckt zum Zeitpunkt des Todes in dem Kostüm?
MEINE MEINUNG: Den ersten Fall fand ich ja letztes Mal schon toll, da Heiji Hattori mit dabei war.
Danach kommt das Rätsel um die Drillinge, was mir wirklich gut gefallen hat.
Der Fall um die tote Künstlerin war mal anders aufgebaut, denn man wusste sofort, wer der Täter war, seine schuld musste aber nachgewiesen werden.
Gomera als Mörder (soll wohl Godzilla nachempfunden sein) fand ich auch spannend. Mir hat das Filmset und vor allem die Requisten um Gomera wirklich gut gefallen.
FAZIT: So richtig herausgestochen ist dieses mal kein Fall, aber sie waren alle gut.

Calon mertua kakak Sonoko meninggal dibunuh di depan mata Conan, Ran, Sonoko, dan kakak Sonoko. Pelakunya adalah salah satu dari saudara kembar tiga calon suami kakak Sonoko. Mereka semua memiliki alibi yang sangat lemah karena kesaksian mereka bertiga berubah - ubah.
Seorang pelukis baru dibunuh oleh mentor sekaligus kekasih gelapnya. Namun si mentor memiliki alibi kuat karena dia bersama Kogoro, Ran, dan Conan saat si pelukis baru jatuh dari balkon apartemennya. Conan pun berusaha memecahkan trik yang dipakai oleh si pelaku.
Profesor Agasa dan geng detektif cilik mendatangi studio tempat film Gomera (tokoh monster film anak - anak) dibuat. Di sana geng detektif cilik menjadi saksi seorang produser film dibunuh oleh orang yang memakai kostum Gomera. Anehnya saat mereka mengejar pelaku bermodalkan jejak kaki Gomera, hanya ditemukan kostum yang terbakar.

This volume of Case Closed contains 3 different stories. The first story is the conclusion of the story started last volume. Depending on how long it has been since you read volume 12, I suggest rereading the end of it if you want the full effect. The next case deals with the death of a father…who has three children who could have been the murderer!?!? Fun story (well I guess as fun as a murder mystery can be). The next case is that of an art dealer who commits murder and while Detective Conan knows he did it…must figure out how the murder was committed before he gets away scot-free. Finally we come to a story about the kid detectives and the murder mystery of an executive on the set of a Gomera film. It’s a fun story which I felt was the perfect pace and great way to round out the latest volume of Case Closed.

I kind of like how the second case is based on a very real thing the creative field... or really a lot of different field. Some scumbag dude taking the credit for a woman's work. The last case with the monster movie was okay even though I don't completely get the motivation of the murderer. Like why not clear the misunderstanding with your coworkers instead of killing the horrible producer?

Who'd think you could make me upset over the death of a Godzilla lookalike suit. Yes. This mystery had two deaths this time. An unlikable guy and poor Gomera.
Still. It's fun to see that there's always going to be a s*ithead producer that goes against creativity and fun to favour bland movies instead. And sadly only the fictional ones get killed off. Boo.

i really wanted to give this a 5 star because the final case in here is literally one of my all-time faves and I adore it with all my heart - but... I can't do that because the two prior cases are both approximately 3.5 Star cases for me. Good but not Great.

Pretty interesting cases as they usually are in this series. I thought the Gomera case would end up be that they all conspired, but no. Guess I’m just not as good as Conan. (he did get weirdly out-of-character angry but it was probably just so he could make his deduction)

Une autre aventure très sympathique de Conan, j'ai beaucoup aimé l'enquête sur le plateau des films Goméra, pour une fois la bande des petits détectives n'était pas trop énervante!
