AIR #3.5

A vacation isn't the same thing as running away. At least that's what I told myself.
Waking up next to Ethan in a rustic mountain cabin makes me feel like the luckiest woman in the world. Without the connection to the outside world, we could forget our troubles. When we go into town for supplies and cell phone signal is restored, all bets are off.
Logan is on assignment, but his friend needs help. My partners and I jump into action with Ethan along for the ride. We're on bigfoot's trail, trying to catch up to him before a hunter does. Rider is distant, Vincent is uneasy, and Ethan is way too excited about meeting a bigfoot. When we find traces of the stalker, the scent Rider is tracking and what I see in the Path don't line up. Something strange is happening in the mountains.
Are we tracking a hunter, or something else altogether different?

Peter and the Wolf

Not as good as the novels - probably because I don't think that Ethan is the right person for her.
Having been signed off work, she and Ethan are enjoying a vacation. Getting a phone call asking for help wasn't quite what she expected. The rest of the team want her help to go to the aid of a bigfoot that's on the run from a hunter. Can they find him or even his house? Why does the hunter hunt him? (Actually this was never answered) Who or what is the ghostly wolf that is also tracking them as the track the hunter and bigfoot? Again the question was never really answered.

I really enjoyed reading this book. I read all the books in the series that are published so far, in less than a week. I couldn't put them down! The idea of there being portals to different worlds that contain the beings our myths are based on is such a great concept! Then top it off with a protection agency that monitors those beings and deals with the mysteries and incidents that occur as a result.

This book would have been better with the addition of the heroine's partner Logan. Though the story is good, Logan is such a likeable character that I missed him.

**I was going to use the word "creatures" instead of "beings", but my mind kept going back to the heroin of the series continually correcting people who would address the beings from other worlds as creatures, things or anything that made them seem as though they were not intellectual beings, and I just couldn't bring myself to do it.**

Another great read from Booloodian!

Booloodian's characters return in another great adventure. I love that most of the characters have returned for this "off the books" assignment. I'm even glad for the inclusion of Cassie's boyfriend, Ethan. As always it's very imaginative and I adore the working/friendly relationship between Cassie and her partners. Can't wait for their next adventure!

Good read

Cassie and Ethan get their mountain cabin retreat and it's interrupted by her partners. They have to find a Bigfoot before a hunter does. Ethan sees things he's never imagined and peril is everywhere. Will he stick around or cut and run. Read to see. Lots of danger, paranormal activities, and a little romance and humor. Highly recommend.

I ploughed through this. It was good but I missed Logan and Gran. It was good to get a little bit more info on Vincent, Rider and Ethan. Not sure where this will go in the next book but not holding onto hope for Ethan.

Help I’m drowning in Fluff

How you ask is it possible for a book/novella to be fluff-ridden when it is set in the deep woods? Trust me-it can. A pleasant novella which won’t set the world on fire.

Camping can be fun

Cassie has a extra special vacation. No camping trip would be complete without a bigfoot, Peter and a wolf, your partners, and your boyfriend.
