I read this story to my little pupils, they were attentive but the story wasn't exciting enough.

Alabaster’s Song

This was my favorite Christmas story to read to my kids growing up, and now to my grandson! Love it!

I had read this book because I had seen the movie. I liked that it was a retelling of the Nativity. I thought it was cute. It was okay but not a favorite.

This was cute, but it was definitely just “The Polar Express” with an angel instead of a bell.

This story was really cute but I've read better children's books by Max Lucado before and this one wasn't as good as the others. I liked the idea that the child could hear the angel and as he got older and became more a part of the world and worldly things he started not hearing it and forgot about it completely until his young son asked if he could hear the angel. The underline meaning of that is really important for both adults and children so I really liked that aspect of it. I think kids will enjoy the story and the idea that the angel on top of their tree could really be alive and sing to them and have been there when Jesus was born. It was a cute story that I'll probably read to children if I ever have any but it wasn't my favorite by this author.

This book is about a boy whose angel treetopper sings to him. He grows old and cant hear it but his son can. It is a religious version of the Polar Express only not interesting.

Read it on my Kindle with my toddler, but wished I had the actual book for his sake. The story and pictures are sweet and perfect for children.
