A strange novel from the creator of Gor. While the book seems to bill itself as exploitation, it's actually a pretty lame romance.

I'm a big fan of John Norman. I've read all the original Gor books and 1 of the more recent plus his other series and stand-alone novels, I used to own all the physical copies with the excellent Boris Vallejo artwork. It's an acquired taste.

This book was very racially problematic, speaking as a white person. I can only imagine how bad it really is to a Native American. the love story seemed weak, and the themes seemed scattered and incomplete.

None better...

As a Lakota Sioux pipe carrier I've never read a more moving book since I read Black Elk Speaks. Now I may sing my death song...

Lousy sex scenes from Norman. I'm sticking with woman slaves in Gor. Thanks.
