John Grisham
مثل ما هو الكاتب و المحامي المولع بالقصص المتلعقة بالمحامة و قاعات المحاكم !!
إن أحادثها كانت في فترة السبعينات و بداية الثمانينات
هي نفس الفترة التي كانت أمريكا تحاول تتخلص من أثار العنصرية
و محاولاتها في اسكات بعض المجموعات العنصرية مثل الكلان
,,
بداية اسمها بما معناه الغرفة
و التي كان يقصد بها غرفة الاعدام بالغاز
التي لازالت تطبق في بعض الولايات الأمريكية كطريقة للاعدام
فبينما كان هناك غرفة غاز للاعدام كان هناك شخص منتظر حكم اعدامه
بجريمة لم يرتكبها مباشرة و إنما ساعد فيها
شخص فضّل أن يجري خلف غضبه على السود و اليهود بلا سبب
و ترك عائلته تلتهما الظلال
و لم يبقى له الا القليل من الوقت حتى موعد اعدامه
و لكن يظهر محامي يبدأ بالدفاع عنه
و في النهاية ,المحامي يكون حفيد هذا الرجل الغاضب
,,
اكاد أقسم أني استطيع سماع صرير أبواب المحكمة عندما تفتح و تغلق
جميلة كانت حبكتها
فلم يكن هناك مذنب حتى النخاع
و لا بطل حتى النخاع
كانت تحكي عن بشر جمعوا بين الشر و الخير
بين صرخات الغضب و دموع الندم
كانت رواية لا تعترف بيوتوبيا أفلاطون

"The horror of death row is that you die a little each day. The waiting kills you. you live in a cage - and when you wake up, you mark another day and you tell yourself that you are now one day closer to death."
مثل هذه الروايات لا اتوقع شاعرية منها؛ لكن هذا المقطع كان جميلا
على الرغم من هذا , كانت المشكلة في الكاتب و مثل ما هي عادته هي
حشد جيش كبير من الشخصيات
و تجد نفسك بعد الصفحة الأخيرة تسأل اسئلة كثيرة
عن مصيرهم أو ماذا كان دورهم في القصة غير أن اسمائهم شغلت حيزا على الورق الأبيض .. عبثاً!!!
لكن لا أجوبة

مع العلم الاحداث تختلف كثيرا عن الرواية
أحلام سعيدة .. حان وقت نومي فقد حرمتني الرواية النوم بالأمس
