Just when I thought it couldn't possibly get any worse...

So. Much. Worse. I'm dying here. I might need to take a break from this book, as addictive as it is. Humiliation by proxy, especially this level of humiliation, is just too much. I sort of want the earth to swallow me up. On a positive note, when Chess crashes and burns she does so with flare. 100% commitment.

Oh, snap! So bad. Sooooooo bad! Even I want to die. I'm feeling shame and mortification by proxy. ( I knew that whole situation wouldn't end well. Please, somebody tell me this isn't going to get worse)

Nooooo! Ugh. You had to go there, didn't you? Not that I'm surprised.

Also? This cannot possibly end well. I know it--I've read way too many books to be foolish enough to think otherwise.

Wow, I'm dizzy. I don't think I've ever held my breath for so long, at least not while reading (I read it a couple of times). And talk about gut-wrenching. That was one of the most beautiful, honest confession, ever. (Chess! Tell him you're terrified, please!)

I know I'm supposed to like Lex, but I don't. I especially don't like that he plays a bigger role in this book. I really hope Chess doesn't end up getting serious with him. I don't think I'd be able to handle it.
