I was finishing the latest podcast and the subject on how to say "Sword and Laser" in spanish came up, so here is my translation and pronunciation:

Espada Y Làser
Ehs-pah-tha eee lah-sehr (add more r's and roll for that "carrrrrne asada" sound ;) )

I would be surprised if we can find a language where Laser is a different word. In German you use the English pronounciation as well, so it's really the same.

We have a children's show in Germany called "Die Sendung mit der Maus" (The Show with the Mouse) which features its intro each time in German and then repeats it in another language. You could do something similar and feature one language each time.

In Fallout it would be Super Sledge and Gatling Laser.

In Empire Galactic standard it would be light saber and blaster.

In federation standard it would be Bat'leth and phaser.
