Morgan is Southern born, California raised and firmly transplanted in Alaska. It takes a lot of something to bloom in the far north where the summers can be glorious and the winters very long. She's still trying to figure out what that something is.

In the mean time, she spends long hours with the characters in her head when not embarrassing her college-aged son or trying not to poison her husband with kitchen creations.

Spell Checkers and Other Editing Things

Love them or hate them, the editing options available with your word processing program are helpful and useful tools. In fact, I recommend every writer have Spell Check turned on at all times. In MSWord, that little red line will help you catch misspellings immediately. Then there's the blue line to alert you to the wrong spelling, or possibly the wrong word—also a useful tool.
