Reckless (It Girl #3)
When Jenny Humphrey arrived at Waverly Academy, the student body immediately started buzzing about her and her body. She quickly caught the eye of three of the hottest guys on campus, kissed two of them, and made one her boyfriend: the adorable Easy Walsh. Too bad Easy just happened to belong to somebody else - Jenny's roommate, Callie Vernon.

This book went sooo fast! I literally read it in an hour. It wasn't the best in the series but let me tell you this whole Easy romance triangle is getting complicated! I refuse to read the back of the books because they give WAY to much away. So DO NOT read the back of the books AHEAD of this one it'll destroy the books you still have to read! I just got this in the mail and now I have to wait AGAIN for the second one which hasn't even been sent out yet! Ugh!

The It Girl series is highly entertaining and highly addictive. But Reckless was my favorite one so far, and I thought the only one of the three I've read that deserves five stars. Why? For starters, the characters were more fleshed out this time around and felt less like stereotypes. The story was also more entertaining and there was more drama.

After reading the first and second book, I thought this one was a bit "blah." It was not quiet interesting, but it was a read to get the facts and get going. While reading this book, I just wanted to know what was going on with Jenny and what was going to happen to her next. I did not care about all her other roomates thoughts and what they were going to do. So I realize that I was just skipping a lot of the facts and just moving on to Jenny.

So far i really like this book but not as much as the first and second book. either way the ook is still great!! I just think that cecily v. should have added more action into this book and she should of made the characters more crazy like in the other two books : The it girl and Notorious. The book is about four girls, Callie, Brett, Jenny & Tinsey. they live on waverly campus ( its a high school boarding school) and theres alot of drama between callie and jenny about easy, and theres drama...more
Reckless is a great novel in the It Girl series. I really loved how the plot was developed and how all the relationships flourished throughout the novel. I really hope we get to see more of Kara in the next novel, since I think her character is extremely interesting and could be developed further.
I like how the novel was arranged and how the chapters were separated between different sub-plots.

I enjoyed this book, and even grew to love the characters even more. CVZ does a great job of making sure her characters grow as ppl, which makes them even more relateable. I also like how in all these books, it's not told just from jenny's side. Honestly it would be boring that way. Other characters are more important to me than Jenny, as it was so apparent in Gossip Girl, which makes me wonder for the next books if she'll ever really be the star???

I thought that this book was a great book. It had a lot of drama but I think it needs to be more realistic. The most realistic person in the book is Jenny. She's not super rich or anything and she's not spoiled and she doesn't go out and buy up the whole store. She is also my favorite character because she isn't a back-stabber like the other girls. My least favorite character is Tinsley. She's is always in other people's business and relationships and she's a major back-stabber, but I guess that...more

Jenny Humphrey has had nothing but boys chasing after her since she began attending Waverly Academy. Namely, the three hottest guys on campus! And one of them happens to be her current boyfriend, the sexy-manly-artist Easy Walsh.
Who just happens to be her roommate, Callie's, ex-boyfriend, who still likes him.
And with gossip like that, Tinsley had to start drama and tell Callie. So the two roommates have done nothing but ignore and avoid each other...more

This was my second read of this book and while there was a surprisingly long lull during which the sexes were divided, I speed-read through the second half of the book because i was enjoying it so much. I found much less about it to be offensive, though there were still one or two cliche's. What i like about these books are the sudden and subtle descriptions that the author includes, ones that stand out to me as interesting and realistic. I recommend this book over the first two of the series.
I loved Reckless by Cecily Von Ziegesar due to its spunk and surprises. After Dean Marymount finds out about a party (thrown by Tinsley Carmichael, of course) on top of Dumbarton Dorm’s roof, he puts every Dumbarton girl on lockdown for the weekend. This stirs up a lot between former friends, Tinsley, Callie, Brett and Jenny, because now they have nothing else to do but fight and make one another’s life stink. I think that the It Girl series just keeps getting better with each book, and this nov...more
I'm still sticking to my review from the last book. Tinsley is a character who ruins the story. She was brought in to complete drama, I get that, but there was plenty of drama without her. She's not a character I love to hate. She's simply a character I cannot stand. She brings down the entire series.
This book was excellent, of course. So far I have loved all the books in the It Girl series, they just seem to get better and better (if that's even possible). In this book, Callie proves she is just plain mean. Callie bribes Jenny with books, desperately tries to win Easy back even though he is with Jenny, and ignores her old best friend Brett. Callie's proves to be dumb from her actions, and Tinsley Carmicheal gets everyone in trouble while getting herself out of it-and of course, even the in...more

“Tinsley hated the thought of people greeting her with “Where's Julian?” It was like once you were a couple, you ceased to exist as an individual. It made her a little sick to her stomach.”
