More to come…Don’t miss the sizzling conclusion to Surrender to Temptation, Part VI, available 2/5.
Surrender to Temptation is a mild BDSM read with a hint of dominance, steam and sexy billionaire Hero.
Devon walked in on her boyfriend cheating. She is devastated and decides to quit her job and move away. She ends up in a little town and as she eats dinner she sees a handsome stranger who can’t keep his eyes off of her. Zach is handsome, rich and is very dominate. He offers Devon a job at his company and Devon happily accepts.
Surrender to Temptation has everything a mild BDSM read needs.

Devon and Zach at first are attracted to each other and to my surprise it wasn’t insta-lust. There was nice tension and chasing on Zach’s part. Zach is very Dominate. He knows what he wants and what he wants is sex with Devon, but sex his way. He doesn’t do “vanilla” sex. Devon is jilted by her ex and she isn’t model thin so she doubts herself. When sexy Zach shows her interests, it’s hard for Devon not to follow his lead, even though she’s a bit scared.
Surrender to Temptation was an easy short read. I really did enjoy it and the steamy factor was nice. The tension between Devon and Zach is up and down. Zach is very hot and cold. Many times Zach pushes Devon away and I got a bit frustrated at the end. I wanted to tell Zach, “Okay enough!” I was happy that Devon wasn’t too much like a puppy and pushed Zach back a bit.
I’ve read a lot of BDSM reads, so I tend to go towards the darker, harsher reads, but every once in a while, it’s nice to read a short sweet one.
An ARC was provided in exchange for an honest review
Note: Surrender to Temptation is also available in five parts.
This is hovering dangerously at C- with only 1 installment left.
I gave it the benefit of 3 stars because I honestly don't know whether my reaction to this erotic serial read is A) due to the book itself or B) just my really, really intense need to steer clear of any further glacial, dominating, non-communicative billionaires who suddenly against their character play at BDSM with a vanilla virgin due to some as yet unrevealed tragedy. In which case it's not fair to be so harsh to the author and her baby here.
A fellow blogger I love @ Smexybooks praised Hawkeye's new release "Seduced by the Gladiator" over at www.heroesandheartbreakers.com and I think the excerpts of Jameson/Hawkeye's "Blush" at the end of each serial novella holds more promise for me than this has so perhaps it's an A+B kind of thing.
Okay, Part IV was my favorite, but this installment was first runner-up. Of course, Zach and Devon fight again. And of course, she storms off. And of course he comes back for her. But Zach's walls are slowly coming down, and he's opening up to her bit by bit. At the end of this is another crucial moment between the pair and I'm wondering if they'll ever get it together.
There's a fun surfing scene, and a hot bondage scene. Whoa. Like I've said many times, Lauren Jameson is a fantastic writer of erotica.
This one brought something new to the story actual time together having fun as Zach shows Devon how to surf. This was a nice addition that made Zach seem real.
I feel like there are some continuity issues with the days if the week throughout this series. It's a minor thing, not anything that would make me stop reading. I'm enjoying it.
