A light and easy introduction to MongoDB. But what I really wanted was this. (That being said, it did help me get a few things straight w/r/t/ querying and updating prior to turning to that index.)

Only to be approached after having understood Chris(topher) J Date, so one can avoid the confusion between the physical (NoSQL) and logical (SQL) layers.
A very well written, concise, and surprisingly complete introduction to MongoDB with amusing examples.
