but *10* five-star reviews of my books disappeared overnight. I went from having 209 ratings, with an average of 4.18, to 199 ratings and an average of 4.14.

This never happened to people before Amazon (with its somewhat arbitrary standards for reviews) bought out GoodReads. I have been a presence here for too long to abandon GR entirely, but one does understand the mass exodus to BookLikes a great deal better under these circumstances.
