Updates... ♥

Well, my novel finally got published, yay! I'm very happy with the outcome of it. Once Lost, Forever Found (Volume #1) by Nina Jean Slack here is what it is about:

Written in the form of a memoir, Effie tells the story of how she and her brother, Vladimir, had become lost in the world; their wayward teenage years.

Her internal struggles and emotions threaten to eat her alive. Memories of her childhood remind her of the innocence she once possessed. She has been hurt so many times in her life...the world can be so cruel. She knows there is more to life than this. She knows true love exists.

She looks up to her older brother Vladimir, who handles emotions so well on the outside. On the inside, he is screaming, and no one knows it, except for himself. How can someone be so strong for so long? There is a breaking point; there is pain, longing, loss, resentment, regret, anger, sadness, self-loathing, heartbreak, silent screams that will never be heard.......there is hope.

Where can hope be found in this world? How do you find yourself amongst the turmoil? Find yourself in this unforgettable, touching, emotional, relatable story of two young hearts who discover what it means to be Once Lost, Forever Found.

You can purchase Once Lost, Forever Found in paperback version, or kindle version at: http://www.amazon.com/ or http://www.amazon.co.uk/

QUOTES FROM THE BOOK:
“People come and go in our lifetime, but we hold onto the ones worth keeping, the ones who have touched our lives in such a way that changes everything we thought we knew or felt; life itself changes.” -Nina Jean Slack, Once Lost, Forever Found (Vol. #1)

“While we are living, our lives are like that of an open book, still being written. Eventually, our book closes for us, and to others, it will be as if we never existed at all. Those of us who write down our life story, will leave a little piece of us behind when we're gone.” -Nina Jean Slack, Once Lost, Forever Found (Vol. #1)

“I had never been in love with anyone before in my life, but I knew the feeling when it came bursting into my soul, like a million butterflies swirling around inside of me, like a tidal wave crashing into the shore that was my heart, flooding it completely and wiping out everything in it's path...” - Nina Jean Slack, Once Lost, Forever Found (Vol. #1)

“Vladimir stood next to one of the beams on the back porch of our new home, leaning on his back. He reached in his pocket and grabbed a pack of cigarettes, Marlboro Reds which were his favorites, and he lit one up. He was dressed all in black; black skinny jeans, black studded belt, black tennis shoes, black v neck shirt and he had the hood of his black jacket up over his head. He looked cool and collected, and somewhat villainous.” -Nina Jean Slack, Once Lost, Forever Found (Vol. #1)

“One look into your beautiful eyes, and my self-loathing soul felt envy. I had become vulnerable that instant...helpless, wanting, hating, resenting, loathing...” -Nina Jean Slack, Once Lost, Forever Found (Vol. #1)

“If ever you feel lost, terrified, alone, emotionally and physically drained...when you feel like depression has overpowered you, and that the world itself, has devoured you...just remember that you are not alone, you are loved, you are a beautiful story waiting to be told.” -Nina Jean Slack, Once Lost, Forever Found (Vol. #1)

Anyways, on another note, I was thinking about writing another poetry book in the meantime...well, when I'm not working on the sequel to Once Lost, Forever Found that is. c: I want to write poetry again, I miss it so much. ♥ I will let everyone know for sure if I will write a romance poetry book or not. One thing is for sure though...I'm going to be a very busy woman the next couple of months. c:

That's all I have to say for now, thanks for all of the love and support, everyone! ♥
