How is Writing In Your Genre Different from Others?
I wanted the text to have some interesting and fun facts in there as well so that it would work for slightly older children when reading with their parents.
The images are exciting and the text is not babyish but full of fun and interesting facts that I hope will help parents to kickstart more play and discussion.
What Advice Would You Give Aspiring Writers?
Don’t wait for your book to be perfect before you publish (because it never will be). Instead publish fast and move onto the next one. You can always amend through KDP later if you need to.

What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
This book was inspired by my 2 year old son who just loves looking at pictures of diggers on the iPad. I couldn’t find any kindle books with really exciting images and fun text so we made one together. He was involved in the whole selection process from start to finish and this is now our second book together.I wanted the text to have some interesting and fun facts in there as well so that it would work for slightly older children when reading with their parents.
