City of the Falling Sky (The Seckry Sequence Book 1)

Joseph Evans grew up in South Wales, UK, where he spent his childhood playing video games, watching anime and reading. He studied Interactive Media at university, specialising in motion graphic design, but realised afterwards that his real love was in crafting stories. In the spring of 2008 he sat down with a blank notebook and began planning an epic five book series that would come to be known as The Seckry Sequence.

Joseph's biggest influences are J.K. Rowling, Terry Pratchett, Philip Pullman and Chris Wooding, alongside the amazing video games he played through his childhood, like Final Fantasy VII, and Hollywood blockbuster films.

He hopes to see Seckry grace the big screen one day and he would like to be heavily involved in the adaptation and production process.
