The Next Big Thing
I am so excited that I was asked by K. R. Rowe, (author of Amber and Blue) an awesome book by the way, to do a question and answer interview about my book. I have added K. R. Rowe's link to the bottom of my page. Please check out her interview and read about her book. It's a great read!
What is your working title of your book?
They Always Affair Down. This is the sequel to "You Cheated On Me With THAT?!"
Where did the idea come from for the book?
From my own experience as well as many people that I know. It seems that a day doesn't go by that either a friend or relative calls me and tells me about an affair that has touched them. When I finished the first book, I thought I would be done. I was wrong. There are millions of stories out there, each heartbreaking. I'm not going to write millions of them, but I'm not finished yet. Some of the revenge stories I have for this next book will blow your minds! And there will be a 3rd book, totally different from these 2.
What genre does your book fall under?
Romance, chick lit.
Which actors would you choose to play your characters in a movie rendition?
There are completely different people for each story so there would be many actors to choose from. I would love to see a few of these people from the TV show called Revenge..fitting, yes?
Emily VanCamp & Madeleine Stowe
Josh Bowman & Barry Sloane
Nick Welscher
Rachel Bilson, Scott Porter & Cress Williams
Tatum Channing definitely hot enough...
Krysten Ritter looks vengeful enough...
Ellen Barkin
Powers Booth
These are just a few that have come to mind.
What is the one-sentence synopsis of your book?
When I say "They Always Affair Down", I am not talking about looks, it's more about what's inside of a person.
Will your book be self-published or represented by an agency?
It will be self-published but I have Telemachus Press to make it look professional.
How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript?
I am still in the middle of writing it.
What other books would you compare this story to within your genre?
I haven't read anything like this yet most likely because I haven't seen anything like it.
Who or what inspired you to write this book?
My first book because I realized after finishing that one, I wasn't ready to stop telling more stories.
What else about your book might pique the reader’s interest?
There are some pretty sad but funny and outlandish revenge stories.
K. R. Rowe was kind enough to include me in this interview opportunity and I would like to thank her by providing her website for others to enjoy.
