You scared me for a second. I love your books and I don't know what I would do if there wasn't going to be anymore. Probably cry...so I'm really glad I read the rest of this post. :) I'm excited to hear When Tempting a Rogue will be out soon and I'm looking forward to reading your future books (no matter what name they're written under).

I'm sorry I scared you! Frankly, thank you for being scared. Sometimes writers wonder if anyone would notice if they just stopped. :-) I hope you do like the new books. The Steampunk might be a little grittier than my historicals (no more than the vamps, though) but I still love writing about the same kind of stories!hugs

Whew, what a relief. Congrats on your new venture! I can't wait for the new reads. I will keep a look out!
I'm sad to hear that your Avon Victorian series is coming to an end 'cause I was really looking forward to Archer's story.I'm very glad you're still writing and all the new series sound exciting. I'm a big fan of the Brotherhood of the Blood, so I really hope your new vampire series goes through. It sounds verrry interesting and original.
Just keep 'em coming! :)
*grieves over Archer* *hugs*
But on a happier note.....
The cover of "The Girl in the Steel Corset" is absolutely stunning! I prefer adult romances, but I added it to my wish list since I love your books. And I told a couple of friends about it, too. :)
Is The Steampunk with Signet an adult romance or young adult?
Kathryn wrote: "The Signet books are full on adult romance. :-) Complete with sexy bits. lol."YAY! I'm looking forward to it!
Awww...I'm sad about Archer and my first intro to him and that series was an excerpt of Trystan's book. I can't wait to get my hands on the whole series. I promise to do my best to not fall in love with Archer. But definitely a big congrats on the other news. Your brotherhood of blood was phenomenal!
I really like the sound of the new series! Although I will be sad to see there wont be anymore straight historicals.
OMG! What happened? Well, the important part is that you'll keep writing. I do have a question, then you'll have a new website? I want to stay informed about your new historical s and I have to get used to your the new name also LOLHappy writing, blessings.
Om my God I was going to cry for a minute!! Im so glad you'll still be writing! :-) Congrats on everything and i cant wait to read Kady Cross and Kate Cross' work. :)

I cant wait to start reading!

I'm curious to what prompts authors to change their names or write under multiple pseudonyms? Is it a genre thing? If you write romance you don't want the young adult crowd to stumble upon them? Love to hear your thoughts and good luck with the new names!
I wish you well on your future books and series but I was wondering about your Nightmare Chronicle series... I have been waiting on pins and needles since the second installment (It was such an exciting ending!!) and I was wondering now that you will be writing under a different name will you publish any more books in this series?
My book club recently read both of the Nightmare Chronicle series and we were wondering if there would be a 3rd book, would love to find out what happens with Dawn's mom and Noah. Thanks
I loved your Kate Locke series, starting with
. Won one as a Goodreads giveaway and it was excellent. I ended up devouring them. I loved the small hard back form that they came in too and have them on my shelf. One of my favorite UF series. Came to see what other series you had written. Not into the YA/NA so might try the Kate Cross after some Katheryn Smith. I do like PNR also.

Kathryn, I am a huge fan of yours. Some day when it's convenient for you, I'd love for you to be on my blog, Historical Romance Review. Your Brotherhood of the Blood series, oddly enough, made me fall in love with Historical Romance. I was just telling my local chapter about that series today (I was on a panel for historical romance). Here's my blog addy: http://reganromancereview.blogspot.com/Regan

I really love your Sisters of Blood and Spirit series!!! I'm reading the sequel right now! It's the best. So funny and unpredictable. So original. I love it. I'm looking for more of your books to read. Can't wait to read 'Before I Wake.' I started reading the first chapter. You are my new favorite author! My favorite number one author is Richard Laymon, a writer of the horror genre. I have read everything he ever wrote when I was in high school. Now I want to read everything you wrote! Just last year I found your ghost series, and it looks like some of your books were written when I was in college 2004-2008. Now I have time to read them! It's been a while, I know. Wish I'd found you sooner. Thank you for writing such entertaining and funny books with so much action! :)Diana-Christie
