Archie sees an inspiring movie coming out of his life-story.

In his book "5-Star Customer Service - In Pursuit of Service & Hospitality Excellence", he articulates his passion for Service Excellence and generously shares real-life stories, case studies, learning questions, international best practices and survey results to feed both the technical and attitude needs of a 5-Star Service Culture environment. Whilst he has trained and spoken in private companies, colleges, schools, churches and parastatals; his involvement with development partners in projects aimed at improving service delivery and customer care in local authorities like municipalities, city and town councils, has been one of the most fulfilling elements of his consulting journey. This has given him hope to be able to answer what he terms, "the most asked question" during his training workshops: "When are you going to start training in government departments and councils, so they can treat us as important customers?"

All Archie's writings are filled with stories and examples of his experiences and those of others, gained from decades spent in the corporate sector, consulting in all economic sectors as well as running his own business enterprises.

He believes there is hope for the Africa he dreams of, and in the Personal Effectiveness and Leadership Excellence book "Making Success Deliberate", Archie lays what he calls the African Challenge:

"We must end conflict in Africa. We must lead to allow the Africans to enjoy the benefits from their natural resources. We must end poverty in Africa. Every African must be educated, have access to health care and a fair chance to fulfil their dream. Preventable sickness and disease must not reduce life expectancy or rob pregnant women of a chance to continue living. Africa must develop.

Africa must not depend on foreign aid. Africa must be united and governed more effectively. Africa must customize her leadership culture and philosophy in a way that gives her global relevance and respect but still remain true and authentic to herself. Will you accept the challenge? Will you be that Africa?"
