Out of 5 stories in this book that I bought years ago in a charity shop, one thing is for sure. And that is that the first story did nothing for me, but the story of a green-eyed highwayman in Disrobed and Dishonoured, which I remember very well, got me as excited as years ago. I did not care much for the third one, but I cannot say the same about The Unlacing of Miss Leigh-I absolutely love this one... And to finish this review I really enjoyed the last story, which I could not remembered at first. This book is a good read.
This is the second time I've read this collection of sexy historical short stories and most of them certainly stand up to re-reading. Despite the length of each story, they all have compelling story arcs and likeable characters. An easy, sexy, romantic read. I only took issue with the first story, Lady Loveless, where multiple problems are seemingly dealt with as if by magic wand. Otherwise, really good reading.
