An emotional why-choose mafia romance with a lot of drama and heart to it. I have such a soft spot for this series, even though this particular one wasn’t my favorite.

Plot/Pacing: ★★★
Characters: ★★★
Steam/Romance: ★★★ 1/2

Ruin My Life is the latest installment in the why-choose mafia series by Luna Pierce. While this novel is technically a standalone romance, I really recommend readers start with June's story in Untamed Vixen, as all of those characters and several situations from that book are referenced in this one.

This is the long-awaited story of Cora and her men. Cora is June's best friend, so while we were along for the ride with June in Untamed Vixen, we saw Cora on the sidelines and I, for one, was really intrigued by her as a character.

In this book, Cora is immediately not having a good time. Her father is caught behind on his debts to a very scary mob boss, and in the heat of the moment Cora, his daughter, is offered up as payment for the debt. Yep—Cora is sold off to an absolute sleazeball to pay off her cowardly dad's debts that he accrued to provide for her mother's cancer treatments.

Cora can't let her dad die, and she knows her mother's survival depends on this mafia boss's money and treatments. So she accepts the forced deal.

Good thing there are a few men in Cora's life with power, money, and heart who are willing to help her out...

Y'all, I had such a sweet time with this story. Cora deserved good things, and she got them in this tale. That's honestly what I was here to read. And I got it!

However, despite my emotional connection to Ruin My Life, I did struggle with this novel's length and kind of repetitive-yet-meandering pacing. The drama is real, and the reactions are authentic—but given how long this drama unfolded, there was only so much we could do and I feel like it lost me as it continued to drag out the big bad drama. This sounds harsh—I did, truly, enjoy this read and despite my qualms it was an addictive read that I finished in one evening.

Don't miss this one if you're a fan of the series!

Thank you so much to the author for my copy in exchange for an honest review.

“Some would call it a crime, I call it romance”

After devouring Untamed Vixen and Villain Era, I was gagging for Cora’s book.

The way Luna does dark mafia reverse harem, why choose and found family is just delicious.

Though I do wish there was more spice, more relationship development to get the full connection I got with June and her men. I also enjoyed we got a little bit of them in this book.

Cora, always the strong one, the one who is always “fine” got in too deep. Miller, Alec and Silver would fight with and for her till the very end.

It was an okay book. I'm rating it 2.75 stars. Honestly, I started reading this book after watching a reel and now I know to never trust a reel for a 5 star read.

Book Review:
What happens when you make a deal with a devil just to protect your father? What happens when you ask him to spare her sometime but then he agrees to give her a months time? Do you think tables can turn in a months time? What do you think can happen? What do you think the devil needs her for?

Tropes & T/Ws:
>> Mafia romance
>> Deal with the devil
>> Reverse harem/ Age-gap
>> Mention of death
>> Past trauma / Abuse
>> Triple VP
>> Stalking / Billionaire
>> Golden Retriever MMC
>> Obsessed MMC
>> Will die for her
>> Betrayal

If you like slow reverse harem books, check it out.

This was my first book by this author, and might very well be the last. I saw this book in a reel (the sprinkle sprinkle lady) and thought yay next great read, but boy was I wrong.

This book’s characters lack depth. It seems to me that the author is just stating facts. For ex, the FMC is supposed
to have great personal relationships with June’s males. But there’s not one scene where this is portrayed. Cora just says oh he (Simon here) is like a brother to me, and I think about killing him at least four times a day. Why girl - there’s no build up.
And this is a minor thing, btw. The relationships Cora has with her men are also extremely vague. All 3 men just love her, and want to be with her, and magically they’re ok with sharing her - there are no discussions regarding this. There’s no back stories!! Why do they love her? What happened between them? Miller she saw ONCE at a club and they hit it off, after which Cora thought he was gay for years; and he just fell in love? We don’t have the club story either, its just stated so in the book. Silver is this dude she slept with once and fell in love with. He has like a couple of scenes before they all decide to enter into RH. Alec the “golden retriever” used to get a couple of moments with her. No moments mentioned whatsoever, just facts stated. The general lack of chemistry just pisses me off so much!

I did not like Cora as well. She’s a kid who pouts and throws a tantrum every time she doesn’t get her way. She’s just not strong enough to be the star of a RH novel. Miller throws money at her, she does a weak protest once and then she accepts it - surprise surprise. I think she has a victim complex as well.

The plot is also kind of cliche. I could guess what the next scene would be. They go to a club together, and a guy makes lewd gestures at her, duh. They go to the movies, same thing happens, duh. Oh, and she gets drunk a lot, I wonder what that’s about. She gets beat up and breaks a rib. She’s sexually harassed by some guy when she was 16. Look, I understand that these are sensitive topics, but as I mentioned before it just seems as if the author does not have any depth whatsoever. It seems like she thinks ‘hmm, what’s the one thing that would make the readers feel sorry for the FMC? Oh yes I’ll add those elements” - victim complex right here.

It’s tough to write a good RH, i get it. But this author seems
to have a ton of those, and I can’t believe its this bad. I don’t think I’ve ever rated a book 1 star but this is deserving. I’m not sure how she managed to fill up 550+ pages since I can’t remember a single scene between the FMC and any one of her men falling in love.

A good read

This book is connected with the Sinners and Angels series although it is a connected stand-alone. You can read this book without having read the other books.

Our FMC Cora tries to be bubbly and happy go lucky, it’s easier to pretend all is ok when your life is crumbling around you. When she inadvertently gets used as payment to cover her dad’s debts with a ruthless mafia loan shark she can’t talk to anyone. Her mother is MIA and her best friend who she knows is involved in the world somehow won’t talk to her and keeps hiding so how can she open up.

We have 3x MMC’s in this book. Miller and Alec, who have both been warned off Cora by her best friends bf’s and Silver who’s the clean up guy and never expected one of the jobs he turned up to clean to be caused by the innocent looking Cora.

All 3 know Cora is struggling and want to help in their own way but she’s too terrified of what will happen to them if anyone finds out the mess her father has got her into.

I loved the first book of this series, it was badass, dark and who doesn’t love 3 men devoted to their women.
This book just didn’t do it for me. The initial plot idea was good, the initial relationship introductions followed with the storyline but I struggled to connect with Cora.

She spent too much of her book in ‘inner monologues’ that went on for pages saying the same thing over and over again. Yes she liked all 3 men individually but it all seemed to jump from single interactions with them to all of them together and happy with it. I felt like in the first book there was more development with the individual characters and how they came together as a relationship and this one was more individuals thrown into a situation with no real development.

I was really excited for this arc but found myself skimming over pages of text of the same chat. All these men she knows and who want the best for her but not once would be able to take down her threat. I find it hard to believe a mafia guy who was so disgusting to buy her for debt would be so open to not taking what he wanted and waiting.

I was a little disappointed that this book being longer felt like nothing much happened until right at the end when more time could have been spent developing the MMC characters and relationships with the FMC alone and together

Not that it’s put me off future books I just feel like book 1 was more to my personal taste and I do look forward to any other books as I do love a good reverse harem mafia book

Now first of all, THESE MEN. I love them. They made me fall for them so damn quickly.
They are the perfect little mixture, with all their own qualities, but all so obsessed with Cora, the FMC. Miller had me giggling a lot, and Silver had me melting.
But Alec had me swooning so bad, and even though I love them all, he has to be my favourite.

“It’s your soul I’m attracted to, Cora.” - Alec
I MEAN?!? Who doesn’t swoon at those words, goddamn.

I did like the FMC, Cora, and her inner monologue.
I did get a bit frustrated with her for how clueless she was sometimes though.

For the story in the book, I thoroughly enjoyed it. The plot is great, it was intriguing and who doesn’t love a violent mafia world?
I love when a book really makes you hate the “villain” (when it is truly the bad kind of villain, not the villain we love, iykyk), and this book did that for me.
I almost threw my kindle a few times

The spice was spicy, and the scenes were hot. But I wouldn’t be opposed to some more spicy scenes, especially including them all.

I really loved the epilogue, where we kinda get a “follow up” on a particular thing with each that has been brought up during the book.

If you love dark mafia romance, you should definitely read this! Check your triggers though🫶🏼

I really wanted to like this book, but there were things that got repeated way too much, and sections that were very long-winded, like Tom Clancy long-winded, which made me set the book to the side several times and end up skimming parts.

Another one done and in the books for Luna Pierce. This is a standalone that can be read by itself in the Sinners and Angels series. The FMC is someone we have met previously in the series and is June’s best friend Cora!
I really love how all the guys know each other in the books she has written in this series but are never intended to have one female in the group. The group just sort of builds itself. This is a RH Mafia Romance. In repayment to a mafia boss and to save her mother Cora has to make a deal in order to save her family.
we have Alec, who is the driver for her best friend. Silver the guy who is called to help. And finally Miller, a billionaire mafia boss himself and someone who is absolutely obsessed with Cora.

I could have and would have finished this in one sitting. The only reason I didn’t is becuase I had to get to sleep and I couldn’t stay up. But to say that i devoured this in record time would be an understatement. I love Luna Pierce’s Sinners and Angels world and it never fails no matter how big or small the book it always captures my attention and keeps it the whole entire time. I really can’t wait for London’s story!! It will be on my highly anticipated books for 2024!!

We might be k!llers. We might be the v!llains of this story. And they might not be blood, but they are my found family.

Another amazing dark RH mafia romance by Luna Pierce! Her RH are always a hit for me, June's story in Untamed Vixen and Villain Era was so good and I've been dying to read Cora's story. This book is dark and deliciously hot! Cora is the bubbly, always happy friend, the one that puts everyone's needs in front of her own but never shows what is really happening deep down inside her. After so many traumas, she learned to disassociate and push through. Until she meets them, Alec, Miller and Silver, the three men that will show her that it's okay to not be okay all the time and it's okay to ask and accept help. After her life turns upside down and she has to decide between saving her own life and her parents', she sees the life she could've have with these men but now she doesn't have a chance to anymore because she just traded her soul for the life of her parents. But what she thinks it's the end of it all will become only just the beginning of her story, of her time to find happiness and love for once.

I absolutely loved everything about this story, these men were hotttt and even though I'd love more group and spicy scenes, I still loved every second of it. I love how possessive they were of her from the start and how they were ready to drop everything to help and save her.

He deepens his thrûsts, his c*ck slamming into me as he bur!es himself b*lls deep. "You. Belong. To. Us." Every word is another buck of his hips. "Do. You. Understand?"

The balance and chemistry between them was amazing, with Alec being the funny, young one to balance out Silver's older daddy grumpiness and Miller's ps*cho need to control it all.

I like each one of them, all for different reasons. Alec for his excessively thoughtful nature. Miller for his psychotic tendencies. And Silver for his assertive dominance laced with sweetness.

Tropes:
- Dark mafia
- RH
- Touch her and d!e
- Age gap
- Possessive billionaire stalker
- Friends to lovers
- Cr!me
- Found family

My Rating: 2.5 ⭐️⭐️💫
(But we both know I’m only being this generous because the smut smutted and the men men’d.)

We Have:
✅ Why Choose / MFMM
✅ Mafia Romance
✅ Filthy Smut (Like... TVP??)
✅ Obsessive MMCs (They Fell First)
✅ “I Didn’t Tell You to Protect You” x 7000
✅ Chaos. Just, chaos.
✅ London, the real MVP

Let’s get this out of the way: I didn’t hate this. I wanted to love it. I really did. The setup had me hooked—the whole “sacrificed to a crime boss to save her mom” thing? Messy, emotional, dark AF? Yes, ma’am. I was in.

But then Cora opened her mouth—and said nothing......Over. And over. And over. Like girl… what are we doing???

She confesses everything while drunk, remembers doing it, and then fakes not remembering… only to keep everything bottled up “to protect them.” Girl. No. Just no. If I had a dollar for every time a character in this book withheld basic information for “safety”, I’d be richer than Miller.
Let’s be clear: this could’ve been so good..

And listen. As much as I adored the sex scenes, some of them had me blinking like:
Ma’am, you were just trying to figure your life out .... There's emotional chaos...there are questions.... we are shopping....AND NOW YOU’RE ON YOUR KNEES??
Not saying I didn’t enjoy it, just… maybe space the breakdown and the blowjob a little? 😅

Speaking of—the men? Chef’s kiss.
- Silver was the brutal protector daddy.
- Alec was the golden retriever with the mouth of a sinner and heart of gold. Adored him.
- Miller? Billionaire dom with full on stalker tendencies and just enough trauma to justify the brooding. We love a good obsessive freak.

The spice? I mean it spiced... It wasn't OTT and it wasn't not good....And okay listen… TVP?
I'm still trying to process the logistics. Yes, Luna explained it. Yes, I still sat there like the confused math lady meme.
Also, pro tip: Googling doesn't help because what is Textured Vegetable Protein???

And lastly .... let’s give a crown to London—the only character who wasn’t full of secrets and emotional constipation. She said what needed to be said from the jump and I will absolutely be reading her book. 👀👀

TL;DR:
The men? YES.
The spice? HELL YES.
The plot? Could’ve been gold.

2.5 stars. because secrets are dumb. I’m tired. I kept waiting for someone—anyone—to tell the truth, but instead I was stuck with silent suffering and protective lies.

The communication? IYKYK and if you’ve read any of my reviews, you already know that trope is my villain origin story. My tolerance for miscommunication is nonexistent but my thirst for filthy men won’t let me quit. however the smut slapped😏

Emotional amazing read

It seems like everything that Luna Pierce puts out just hits correctly and is amazing. Ruin My Life was no exception. I loved reading about Cora and her men and the strength she was gaining as her story went on. It was an emotional, sexy, and sweet read that I will forever recommend to readers that love dark and why choose stories.

ARC Review : I knew I wanted Cora to have her own story, I just didn't know I needed it this bad. It's so much more then I ever expected, it's DARK, it is Tragically Beautiful. Luna went beyond anything I could have imagined for Cora. Check the triggers because it's not all rainbows and sunshine in parts but if you can handle them, I highly recommend diving into Cora's life. The twist and turns are absolutely worth it.

Cora and her 3 men. Mmmmm. We know that Cora is Junes best friend but June has hypocritically been trying to hide Cora from this life. So when Cora had an attraction to Miller who is Johnnys right hand man, she told him that he was gay. When she had chemistry between Junes driver Alec, Junes men threatened Alec if he went near Cora. June strong arms Cora into an online date to a baseball game, but when the date is late, Alec steps in. Cora ends up getting drunk, Alec takes her home. Cora drunkenly confesses about Ricardo and killing her boss. So to back up. Cora had been about to do a showing of her new building she’s working on, the Wellington. Her boss tries to force her into having sex with him and she stabs him to death. The door opens and it’s Miller and she’s so glad it’s him. He comforts her and calls for cleanup. He has to go. The clean up man arrives, silver. He realizes that Cora has nowhere to go so he takes her home and cares for her. Cora ends up hooking up with silver. Despite her deal with Ricardo. She decides she wants to enjoy herself a little. Cora’s deal with Ricardo. Cora had found her dad basically being held at gunpoint by Ricardo. She discovers that her mother was ill and her father went to Ricardo for a medical trial. He now owes Ricardo money and can’t pay up. Ricardo says he’ll take Cora in exchange, she doesn’t want her family to die so she agrees. He tells her to keep herself available for when he’s ready for her. Cora ends up getting nabbed by him where they explain terms. She asks for a month to get her affairs in order. He agrees but she has to come visit every Sunday. And the terms are, she has to give him a male heir, he has a worthless daughter and he needs a son. She gets to meet his daughter, London. London explains that she’s not supposed to be friends with his women because the last one, they teamed up to try to kill him. And London shows Cora her gnarly scar. Her dad’s only keeping her alive because he’s trying to sell her for big bucks. London has basically accepted her doom. Cora had to promise Ricardo she wouldn’t tell anyone about their deal or he’d kill everyone that she loves. So she keeps it to herself. Or so she thought. TIL that drunken night when she blurted out to Alec but when he confronted her, she denied it. Alec goes to miller saying that he thinks something is wrong with Cora and what he knows. Miller takes Cora out shopping and spoils her in riches. Little does she know that he planted trackers on the purses. So when he sees her at Ricardo’s, he bursts in and shoots Ricardo in the leg and takes London and Cora. Cora’s arm was out of place. He takes her to silver. At one point. Cora and Alec had been at the bar together and Cora lashed out and said mean things to Alec to push him away and called silver to come get her. Alec and silver had an intervention with her where they make her confess what’s going on but she makes them promise they won’t do anything about it because she can’t risk their lives or her parents lives. So Miller is the only one out of the loop. But after he steals her and London from Ricardo, he demands answers. So she tells them the truth, but also makes them promise that they won’t act upon it. Her men tell her they won’t act without her discretion but they aren’t going to stand by and let Ricardo have her. All 3 of these men love her, they aren’t going to force her to choose because they’re too scared they won’t be who she chooses. So they realize they have to get along and work together to protect her. Miller had been working with Dom on the missing shipments still and has a good idea that Ricardo is a part of it. Dom wants to handle him, but not quick enough that it will save Cora. So he has to fill Dom in on the urgency of the situation. So they curate a plan. They take out a couple of Ricardo’s guys and he calls a meeting with the other ones. They’re all supposed to get into an elevator that will malfunction. But Ricardo steps out of it. Silver had been there and tried to go get Ricardo but silver ended up more injured than Ricardo but ok. So all of Ricardo’s side kicks are dead now but he’s still alive. So the day Cora is supposed to give herself over to him. She goes over and acts like she’ll be submissive. When she tries to stab him, he stops her, she ends up using her heel to bash his face in until he’s dead. She wishes he could have suffered more. Especially because she found out that her mother has been dead and kept on ice. So her mother wasn’t even alive any more and he used her like a bartering tool. She doesn’t want anything to do with her father. He was going to let her give herself to Ricardo to save his own life and she realizes that isn’t what a father should do. Not when she has 3 men willing to lay everything on the line for her. Dom demands to take the fall for the deaths of these men. Not only to protect Cora’s men but to make him look like a stronger boss. They perform a small service for Cora’s mom and her father shows up and she demands to leave. When she gets home, June and her men are there. Cora has been mad at June because she feels as if June tried to steal her happiness by keeping her away from Alec and miller. But they have a girls talk where they talk about the things they’ve been through and the people they’ve killed. And sex. June talks about 3 out of 4 of the guys at one time and now Cora wants that. So far she’s only had 2 at a time and didn’t even realize 3 was possible. Cora and June are good again. Each of the guys does a surprise for Cora in the epilogue. Alec plans them the perfect rooftop date. Miller hands her her rapist tied to a chair, she’s able to get closure and let miller finish him off. I can’t honestly remember what silvers surprise was. But then they all fuck her at the same time which was a pretty hot scene of all 3 of them inside her at once. Oh also I forgot. London had gotten beat up near to death over miller shooting Ricardo. Cora got her to the hospital and would sneak out to see her. Once London was cleared, silver got her somewhere safe. That may have been his surprise. Cora didn’t get to say goodbye to London but was sworn that she was alive and well and in hiding so that none of Ricardo’s minions who were still alive, could find her. Londons dad treated her really badly and she needed a fresh start. I am so so excited to start londons book. Especially because it claims to be a series too and it essentially set in the same world so I am super excited to see how things transpire. I really enjoyed Cora and her men’s story. I love a good why choose.

This book is a dark, billionaire/organized crime, reverse harem book. Please check the triggers!

Cora catches her dad being threatened in their own home. She chooses to save her dad’s life & in return is the payment for his debts. Man I gotta say, I absolutely hate Ricardo with every cell of my body. Not only is he a disgusting human being, but he’s an absolute piece of 💩 I’m still shocked with how he treats his own daughter. With a month left to tie up loose ends, Cora stumbles upon 3 beautiful men. Though she knows her time is running out, she’s drawn to each of them, Alec, Miller, & Silver. Man did I love each of the guys. I enjoyed it book and how Cora finally realized she didn’t have to bear the weight of everything completely on her own. She’s got some sass and is a force to be reckoned with when she needs to. Her guys are the definition of touch her and 💀 some lines had be laughing. Loved the group scenes & TVP

Will definitely be reading June’s book (especially since they’re sitting on my shelf). And am excited for London’s story!

Am I writing a review at 1am because I couldn't put this book down? Yup!
Cora's dad gets into debt trying to pay for her mother's cancer treatment. Ricardo comes to collect his debt, which ended up being Cora. She has to produce an heir. Alec has had a crush on Cora for a long time, he was warned that she was off limits. Miller is wealthy with an obsession for Cora, he was also warned that she was off limits. Silver is the hot, silver fox who works as a "fixer" with Miller. Cora irritated me for a chunk of the book because she refused to ask for help from all of her powerful friends and men. But once she opened up and let them help her create a plan, she became much more likeable. As for the men, of course I liked them all, Alec was very much the cinnamon roll that I love and once you see the depth of Miller's obsession, you fall more in love with him (yes, IRL he'd be toxic but this is a book so red flags are hot). This book had a the VPs so prepare for a sausage fest

The most deeply unserious book I have ever read. I’ve never had to stop reading, just to process what I just read so many time. Was going to be a solid 5 star trashy romance, but somehow still made me DNF by 80%. Books like this should not be more than 300 pages or things get just way too fucking weird

2.5 stars, 3.5 🌶️ (with one scene in the epilogue that is more). I thought this would be a 4 star read but I ended up skimming a lot on the second half of the book. I felt like a bunch of fluff was added to make it a longer book. A lot of lengthy paragraphs inside the characters’ head on stuff that has already been established. Some of the spicey scenes kind of fell short for me.

Life can either happen to you, or for you. And I choose my own fucking destiny.

Cora's story broke my heart. She put on a pretty face to show she was "fine" to the world but held so much pain inside. I loved it when she unleashed her beast, shouting to the universe, "You will not hurt me anymore!" She deserved her HEA, and I am glad she gained three men in the process.

I did find the romances to be a bit shallow, almost too easy. I wanted more substance behind their buildup, especially in the case of Miller and Cora. There was some insta-lust turned to love with Silver that I thought could have been explored further (I loved him as a character and wanted more).

This is a medium-fast burn romance with MF and group scenes.

While it is billed as a standalone, I highly recommend you read June’s duet first, as there are significant character crossovers, and reading this book can potentially spoil events in Untamed Vixen and Villain Era.

Genre: Dark Contemporary Romance
Tropes/Features: Organized crime, forced relationship (not between MCs), forbidden romance, age gap, obsessed billionaire MMC, sweet to stabby FMC, pining, secrets, touch her and die, who did this to you, found family
Narrator: Multiple 1st Person POV
Relationship Type: Why Choose MFMM, medium-fast burn, spicy
Book Type/Ending: Standalone with HEA (significant character crossover from Untamed Vixen and Villain Era; recommend reading these books first)
TW/CW: Available in book and on author’s website

Cora's story was very emotional. She is a people pleaser with hidden scars. She has never shared it with anyone. And when she finally has had enough, she unleashes her inner demon. She does this with the help of 3 wonderful men: Alec, whom she has had a crush on for so long. Silver, a moment of lust that becomes love and Miller, also an old crush. I completely understand Silver and Alec's relationships. Miller's too, but I think this remained a bit superficial. You get snippets from their history: Miller is obsessed and has stalked her for almost 2 years. I would like to read some more background on this.

The spicy scenes with the men alone are good, but there are not that many of them. I didn't like the joint scenes. It was just about the same thing over and over and was a bit cringe.

But I really enjoyed this story. And I'm looking forward to the next book!

Cora might have been a side character in June’s story, but she was always meant to be a main character. I absolutely love her character and her story; her trials, her victories are a fantastic read. Her appearance may be pretty and bubbly, but looks are definitely deceiving. She is such an amazingly strong, huge hearted woman which makes her continually give to others. It takes three amazing men walking into her life and showing her it’s okay to receive as well. Those three men are so unapologetically different, but the one thing they have in common is all things Cora. Alec is so incredibly sweet, but has a vicious side when it comes to Cora. Miller cracked me up with his level of obsessiveness. Silver actually drew me the most, meeting Cora where she was and delivering what she needed in that moment. Their spice level requires a hotter rating system than chili peppers…Think ghost peppers hot. I absolutely adore their story and cannot wait to see what happens next in this world!

I really did not enjoy this Book.
Cora gets sucked into an agreement with a suumbag. She
needs to have Ricardo's
son for her agreement to be fulfilled. Cora has
one month to start her end of the bargain but has to model clothes for Ricardo every Sunday. Cora is just an idiot. Her Best friend is part of
this whole Mafia life with 4 morally Gray Men who run that side of
town. If Cora wanted out of the Contract, she could have went to her bestie for help. But No.....

It's always, "I have to do this on my own" "I have no one to go to" an idiot. And then she gets 3 romantic interests. She's always searching for compliments,
always asking how she look, for reassurance
LIKE...WTF... You can't play
independent badass and need constant reassurance. Also, a lot of the shit in this book doesn't make sense. How can you have 3 men who are all touch her and die but let her back to Ricardo’s after She got the shit beat out of her?…That's like boys who talk big. but aren't man enough to walk the walk. 3 BITCH Boys IDK this Book was dumb. She ends up killing Richard with her heels. Like...okay...after they come up with an elaborate plan to take Ricardo out. It doesn’t work…..So she takes him out with her heel. Why not do that to Begin With?????

Before reading this book I took a peek at the reviews, and was almost swayed by them. After reading the book I don’t agree with the overly negative reviews. This book is not what I would call mind blowing or something I won’t ever forget. But it’s a good time, a fun time, a mafia romance with reverse harem. Superficial characters whose main goal is to obtain the FMC, their love and obsession. There were so many cringey moments between them to the point where I felt like I was being love bombed. Which might have been too much but since I skimmed a few paragraphs and was placated with decent plot, it was okay.

I was invested from the start of this book! It starts off with a steamy dream and a deal with a scary gangster within just the first 2 chapters. Luna definitely knows how to get you interested in a story. This is my first of her books but I’ve had the Sinners and Angels series in my tbr forever so I’m definitely going to be reading that soon. I like Cora but if she would have asked for help in the beginning then this all would have been so much easier for her, so she’s stubborn and just a little dumb. All of her men are great but Miller is definitely my favorite. There are many cameos of June and her men and I can’t wait to read their books as well. I also really like London and I can’t wait for her book!

*ARC REVIEW*

I wasn’t sure I’d actually enjoy Cora’s story, but I’m so glad I was wrong!! I was expecting this bubbly sunshine kind of ditzy vibe? (Not entirely sure where I got this idea) but while she admits to being bubbly before, she’s far from ditzy and well aware of the lies she’s been spun regarding what the people around her are involved in. She’s so freaking tough, I was amazed.

I loved her strength, even though from the outside I wanted to punch her sometimes for trying to refuse help I understood her reasoning. My heart broke for her when she revealed the inner workings of her mind and how much she was struggling.

All in all, I really enjoyed her story🥰

Great story I didn’t even know I needed!
So glad Cora got her own story and I love the men she ended up with. Each guy brings a totally different dynamic that all somehow mesh together really well. You get the cinnamon roll, the obsessed stalker, and the daddy vibes guy all together. This book is a chonky one so I thought there would be a few slow spots to slog through but it kept me gripped the whole time. Strong but stubborn fmc and guys who finally get her to let down her walls. Also the spice!! Luna really delivered on romance, spice, and plot.
