Samanatha Caine, who can't remember any of her life prior to eight years ago, must recover those memories before she becomes the victim of unknown killers
Poorly written. Doesn’t really read like a story. Feels like it was written by a child trying to sound cool. For example, there’s a part that says “[characters name] went to the bar to have sexual intercourse…” how is that good writing? There are so many ways to explain or hint at why someone went to a bar and so many ways to infer someone was wanting to have “sexual intercourse”, even just using the F word would have been better and I don’t like cursing. The book has a lot of “telling”. I loved loved the movie which is the only reason I have the book. Won’t read the book anymore, it’s just too cringe!
This book would get 5 stars if it was toned down a lot. Like the movie, the language was terrible, but the story was fantastic! This was about a woman with amnesia who starts remembering who she once was 8 years ago. An assassin for the US government. This was a really good ride and I’m sure I’ll hang on to it for another round later on.
I was quite impressed with this book. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was simply because - I felt - it lacked some literary depth; the written was overall elementary. However, this was an excellent read for entertainment's sake - I enjoyed just about every minute of it.
Some of the drama became a bit much, and some of the action too unrealistic to connect with.
This action packed thriller was good for a 1-time read.
