Rate this book
IT’S BEEN SLEEPING PEACEFULLY ON A MOON OF SATURN FOR 2000 CENTURIES … UNTIL NOW!

A crew of scientists arrives on a far, cold planet to examine archaic artifacts of unknown origin. They discover that their German enemies already have a ship there. When they seek their help after a failed landing, they only find the Germans’ bodies, obviously slaughtered by one of the archaic creatures, awoken to new life. Now the alien is after them.

One of the better "Alien" clones/rip-offs from the 80's. Saw this was novelized some 30 plus years after the fact and had to check it out. Wasn't disappointed either. I'll have to watch the movie again someday again to compare them. Although what I remember, it pretty much hit the nail on the head.

What a great novelization! Books like this actually enhance the original film, and since Creature is a B-movie favorite of mine, this was a blast to revisit the story in novel form. Top notch!

Excellent novelisation!

Christian Francis does an excellent job of novelising this cult classic, the best of the ALIEN clones that followed that groundbreaking movie. The novelisation adds depth to the story and characters (and has better special effects).
I really enjoyed this.

I LOVED this book!

I have never seen this movie, but am a huge fan of Christian Francis, and despite him telling me 'he did the best with the material he was given', he really did excel here.

This is completely up my street and the book kept me gripped from start to finish, devouring all 209 pages in a day. The little micro-storytelling that Christian does was present here, and really lent some depth to the characters, more, I'm certain, than the 1985 film ever did.

This novelization, of which Christian is highly adept at writing, actually made me want to go and watch the movie to compare the two, even though I know the movie is likely terrible. Such is the quality of the story.

There were several typos and repeated phrases in the book, but I was so engrossed in the action that I barely noticed!

If you haven't read one of Christian's novelizations, I highly encourage you to do so. Having read a few now, I can honestly say they are incredibly well done. This one in particular was so well written, it has inspired the first book in a new series of my own!
