"He never thought of himself as a family man, but sometimes things changed... "
Randall Graves spends most of his time writing lines of code in his air-conditioned office at Macconwood Manor. He’d rather be alone than risk involvement of any kind. Everything was going fine, until his Alpha sends him on a forced vacation.
It's all good with Randall, as long as there's WIFI at the small, beachfront, bed and breakfast in Bloody Point, South Carolina. He could work and get some sun at the same time, but he wasn't counting on Tulla Nirvelli. The beautiful single mother owned and operated the small B &B with her seven-year old son.
Charmed by the small island and the young family, Randall finds himself enjoying his time at the Sea Mist Bed & Breakfast. When trouble starts brewing for Tulla and her son, Randall is ready to jump in, but that means revealing his secret. Will she accept the truth about him?

My heart completely melted when Randall was introduced into this series. Book One we meet Randall, and from the little information we got from him, he is a dangerous Wolf, meaning that he easily loses his temper which isn’t fun for anyone. And now that we have read his story, I am head over heels for him just like Tulla!
Randall has been forced into a vacation by his boss and thinking that he won’t have much fun at all, he meets Tulla. Widowed and single mother of a sweet 7 year-Old, it’s love at first sight for them both. But what I love is that while there is an instant connection between them, their love blooms and grows slowly, making me fall in love in the process and making it feel like real love and not just for attractions.
This story is amazing, and I love how at the end of every book there is a big twist that is revealed and it continues on onto the next few books in the series. Halfway through and I really don’t want it to end so quickly! Thankfully there are 6 novellas after this I can read 😉
This is a great series to start, especially if you love slow-burn romances 😍
This book melted my heart. It has some hot and steamy scenes, but it is also sweet and passionate. It is extremely well written, smooth flowing and easy to read. The author does a great job portraying the characters, their emotions and the experiences they go through. The imagery is so vivid, that I could picture every scene in the book as if I were watching a movie. The book kept me captivated from the first page through the last.
I love the characters. Randall Graves has been mentioned in past books in the Grazi Kelly Universe. Randall is third in command, part of the wolf guard, member of the Macconwood Pack, creator of WolfMoon and a phenomenal computer programmer. He lives and breathes computer coding. Even though he is pack, he is a loner He prefers the company of his computer to that of others. He is not remotely interested in a mate or a family. He gave up on love long ago.
Tulla is a widowed single mother to a wonderful 7 year old son named Danny. she has such a fun personality. She opened a bed and breakfast on an island in South Carolina to be able to provide for her and her son. She is dedicated to making sure that all of he guests the privacy that they want, that they are well fed and looked after. She would do anything at all, to make sure her son stays safe, happy and healthy.
Randall thought he was doing just fine, if maybe a tad cranky when he is forcibly sent on a vacation. He has no choice in the matter. He will be going whether he likes it or not, and the destination and length of the vacation has been chosen for him. What is he going to do on a vacation? Tulla and Danny are excited as they are having their first spring guest. Tulla has made sure that all the requests for the guest are ready to go.
Randall and Tulla are both in for the surprise of their lives. Neither of them are interested in finding love or being in a relationship. But the moment their eyes meet, sparks fly. This is going to be an interesting vacation.
I highly recommend this book to those who like romance, paranormal, werewolves. It is not necessary, but I highly recommend reading the books of the Grazi Kelly Universe (Grazi Kelly Series, Angela Tanner Files, and Macconwood Pack Series) in order. There are a few people and things mentioned in the series that may not make sense unless you have the extra background information.
5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful Story, May 26, 2017 By virgen caraballo
This review is from: Code Wolf: A Macconwood Pack Novel (The Macconwood Pack Series Book 3) The Author has done an amazing job once again with coming up with a great story and so I just had to give it 5 stars.
This story is about the trio meeting of Randall Graves (wolf) and Tulla Nirvelli and her son Daniel Nirvelli (magic blood) and after meeting each other creating a loving family bond. Randall who happens to be the Macconwood Pack's Technology expert, but he was sent to take some vacation by his alpha. Tulla Nirvelli was not only Daniel's mom but she also was the owner and operator of the B & B on the Island which had been rented out for Randall Graves to spend his entire vacation at. Now once Randall got to the Island and met mother and son and where he was he was staying then things began to change and he was glad to actually have been forced to take some vacation. For if it was there that he finally got it meet his mate and his future family because she was not alone and he instantly bonds and accepts both mother and son as his family and his to protect! Tulla also feels something after meeting her new hot sexy guest and her son likes him right away also. Her son Daniel is a very special and gifted smart boy and Tulla has her a secret reason also to be so protective of him. Randall and Tulla have both been hurt in their lives and so that makes it hard for them to just trust easily and give into their feeling of love for each other and also their desires which keeps getting stronger the more they are around each other and denying it. But danger is so near them and they also have other obsticles to over come before they can be together as a happy family. Will they be able to over come those obsticles in their way? Will they give into love and give it a chance to find happiness and create a loving family together or not? Well I enjoyed reading this book very much and I am sure that you will also, so what are you waiting for to get your copy?
(I received this book free from the author in exchange for my honest review )
Sexy, hot, dangerous and down right yummy. I want a Randall!!
I am loving the Macconwood Pack novels. Right form the time there were introduced in the Grazi Kelly books, I have been hooked. Mrs Gorri has done it again, she has me fan-girling all over these hot as hell werewolves, and making be hate life because They. Aren't. Real!
This book I must say has been the best out of the three so far, though I have my love for Raf and Charley, and Cat and Tate, this book was just mystical. The setting, the tone and the attraction. I was getting little butterflies, and to tell the truth I was so jealous of Tulla. I have always love Randall in the others books and when he was first introduced in Grazi world.. (I have a thing for the hot nerd... cause I'm a hot nerd..ahah..loljk... or am I lol). He's my dram guy, so though I'm happy he has found his true love, I'm sad that he has...I know I'm rambling..
Bak to it.
Unlike the other two books this one is longer and more in-depth. More action, more drama, and I have a feeling there is more to come surrounding this spat, we haven't seen the last of Danny yet! Speaking of, he was the cutest. I love how he a cute man crush on Randall. They are going to be the bets father and son team!
In all, I highly recommend the book. It was make you blush, your toes curl and have you wanting a hot werewolf to come stalking into your life. Make sure to read the others, they are just as wonderful and just as streamy.
This author seems to be getting better and better each time I read the newer book’s she has written. This truly was a wonderful read with a different twist and feel to the whole scenario. HEA are always great to read, but in this storyline meeting a wolf shifter who has a similar problem as a lot of young adults and other’s which is, it’s easy to watch the world go by while working on your computer, it’s really quite funny when you realise our society today suffers from the same affliction. Randall who is basically a workaholic finds his pack mates have decided for his own benefit it is time for him to get out into the sun light while being far away from a computer. As much as he disagree”s he has no choice as his alpha has given him a direct command. Was Randall happy with where he ended up, definitely plus seeing how Ms Gorri incorporated a ready made situation with those who become very important to Randall, giving the storyline a sense of reality within the book so it feels as though it holds depth in an already compelling read that allows you to understand how vicious and uncaring others can be to another person's plight. It definitely seems as though destiny had her sights on changing Randall's work habits, but to Randall in a totally unexpected way. This book will definitely bring a smile to your face when you understand the changes he goes through. I am not saying much more because spoilers are no fun. Definitely another wonderful book from Ms Gorri and those of you who enjoy the paranormal romance novels will certainly get a kick out of this book. Grab your copy today.
I wish Grazi had made an appearance since it is supposed to be from the Grazi Kelly Universe. The Macconwood pack first appeared in her story as they fought together. In this story we get Code Wolf otherwise known as Randall. He is in essence the pack's technical wizard and he hasn't really interacted outside of his computer hacking as he says so since he is getting testy with everyone his alpha Rafe has demanded that he go on vacation. He is not thrilled with the idea until he meets the owner of the bed and breakfast that he will be staying at. Tulla and her son Danny run it. Tulla has a secret about Danny and she gets very worried about his eighth birthday that is soon approaching. Randall of course has his own secret and his wolf has declared "mine" in no uncertain terms.
I really enjoyed getting to know Tulla, Danny and Randall. Tulla is smitten but she does her best to not allow those feelings to control her as she thinks about what happened the last time with her husband Tom. You really go through a lot of emotions while reading this story. But the end gives you a joyous feeling.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I really loved this book. I normally do not read too many paranormal stories, so I was surprised just how much this affected me. To get it out of the way, I would highly recommend this to anyone considering buying it.
A wolf is sent away from his home to take a much needed vacation from his stressful computing job. He was unhappy about it up till the time he got to his destination. He meets Tulla, manager of the B&B that had been rented for him. And he met her son. The attraction was mutual and instant. For the rest of the story get the book. You wont be sorry.
Ms. Gorri's parallel universe of werewolves (and other shifters), witches and warlocks coexisting with the "normal" world is very well and plausibly drawn. Each story stands on its own but expands on the existing world; this one is about Randall, the computer guru ("code wolf") of the pack, and how he finally finds true love. But as in all good fairy tales he must first rescue fair maiden in this delightfully told but ***STEAMY*** HEA (Happily Ever After).
This is not one of her YA books. Randall is forced to take a vacation by his alpha. Tall, big and handsome meets a widow and her special son. I loved how he interacted with the boy on his level even playing video games with him. He also felt instant attraction to the widow. I enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more in this series
I loved Randall and Tulla's love story !! Not only did they both deserve a chance at love, neither one thought they did, so when Randall's wolf said " mine", Randall was shaking in his beard !! Tulla, who run's the B&B where Randall was forced to take a vacation by his Alpha, is a young, widowed mother of 7 year old Danny, and she has a past that has her hiding out and shy of being with anyone new. Toss in Danny's "specialness", some intrigue and a horny teen from down the beach and you have a book that is hot, sexy, and not to be missed . This is definitely for people 18+. I received a gifted copy of the book and am voluntarily choosing to leave an honest and unbiased review. 5⭐'s . I can't wait for the next Macconwood Pack book .
An enjoyable read through KU but badly in need of a decent proofreader. Hence 3 stars. The spelling word mistakes were annoying but even worse was the gaps in the story. It needed smoothing out as it jumped in places as if missing a paragraph or two. Actions happened that were wrong and rushed. FIRST. Randall never actually says he is a werewolf but Tulla states he is telling her this point. THEN. One minute Danny was unconscious on the sand and still tied up, the next he was hugging his mother. How? he was still tied in ropes. Errors like this spoil a book. The actual story was good and kept my interest but I skimmed the overly long sex scene.
I downloaded Code Wolf as a free novella from Amazon. While there are werewolves, what makes this story is the relationships between Randall, the widow, and her great kid. The plot is fairly predictable, but the writing is engaging and the whole thing simply works. Good story, satisfactory ending, and I loved the characters.
At first, "Code Wolf" seems the same as other wolf-shifter books — a strong wolf-type saving his fated mate — until it turns on its edge and does not go back.
This is the first time I've read this author and I am IMPRESSED. Hot wolf shifter whose a computer genius, a musician, protective and loving, and...best of all...A fan of the original Star Trek? Yea, please!
This book really got to me. This book was amazingly good. Randall, Danny and Tulla shared such a sweet story and HEA. Sighs, this story ate at my heart. Little Danny was so sweet and cute and he reminded me of the child I lost last year. My son and I were very close and they shared so many traits this story just burned me up. Tulla and Randall had magnetic chemistry and I love how they included Danny in lots of activities. Randall made it a point to get to know him and fall in love with him as well as the mother. They were a package deal and the book reflected that. This book had so many sweet moments that had my heart gushing and me smiling so broadly. Mrs Gorri truly is a artist when it comes to writing. Her stories and world building is just phenomenal. Her characters are larger than life, but most importantly they’re believable. They act natural. They’re not stiff or robotic or fake like you may come across in other books. She breathes a life into her characters that’s so real it’s like you know these people and you can imagine their lives being lived and carried out each and every day. It takes true talent to do this. This is why I’m such a huge fan of hers. Onwards to the next book!
Randall Graves , Tulla Nirvelli and her son Danny . Tulla is a single mom, widow, and the owner and operator of the BnB that Randall stays at. Randall is a werewolf, wolf guard and a businessman in the tech field. When Randall meets Tulla, he knows instantly she's his fated mate. As much as he tries, he can't stay away from her and his since of protecting her and her son beomes a need. Tulla is ever worried about her son. The day her husband and Danny's father died, a man called her and said when her son turns eight he'd take him if he was the chooses one. As Tulla and Randall's relationship grows, Danny is taken from school and is in great danger. Randall will shift to save the boy that he considers as his before he could tell Tulla his true nature. Wonderful characters, plenty of drama, danger, action, fated mates, ready made family, steamy, and HEA.
The audiobook is done very well and Ri Paige does an excellent job with the narration and bringing life to each character.

All work and no play makes Randall a grumpy wolf shifter. Forced to take a much needed vacation, by his Alpha Rafe, Randall, stays at the Sea Mist B&B. Tulla is the owner and operator, and lives there with her son Danny. Randall is immediately attracted to Tulla, and so is his wolf. Both fight their attraction to one another and soon give into their passion, in several steamy and hot encounters. All to soon, their love nest is rocked with dangers from Tulla's deceased husbands past. When someone very close to Tulla is taken, can Randall and his pack get to them in time before it's too late. I loved this story. Well developed characters and storyline. The story and plot keep you reading until the end. Definitely, want to read the other books in this series.
Randall Graves is Wolf Guard in charge of cyber security and technology, and he is in need of a vacation. Rafe sends him for a few weeks to a B&B in Bloody Point South Carolina, unplugged. He is drawn to his hostess and her young son. Tulla Nirvelli lost her husband right before he was born. A threat to his safety from a man involved with her husband had her fleeing to her great aunt and the small community on Bloody Island. She has lived quietly, enjoying her son and her B&B. Randall Graves has her feeling things she has never felt before. He is so kind to Danny. When Danny is taken, Randall is her rock. When she learns what he truly is, she puts her trust in her love for him and his love for Danny. A fast paced sweet and steamy, light read. Loved Tulla and Randall. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is the third book in the series and it just keeps getting better, I just loved Randall and Tulla they were fantastic characters that you cannot help but like and root for. When Randall is forced to take a break by his Alpha he ends up at Tulla's bed and breakfast he has always been a bit of a loner and he liked it that way until he meets her,she is a widow with a son and packed up and left after her husband died when her son was threatened the attraction between these two is immediate and it is not long until they give in and hook up which leads to some really steamy scenes. When her husband past catches up with her will Randall and his pack be able to keep them safe.A super addition to the series
This was my first book in the Macconwood series and I have now gone and bought the rest with the number of books available that tells you something. Randall Graves in in charge of Cyber security at Macconwood Rafe his alpha thinks he needs a break so he sends him somewhere where he can't internet While there Randall is attracted to his host Tulla and her son Danny but danger is lurking and Randall will have to protect the woman he is growing close to. Will they get a HEA you will have to read to see. This is a new author for me and I was very impressed by a writing style that just flowed and the way that the characters where given so much depth I was given an ARC copy of this book but this s true and honest review
Book Review: Code Wolf (Macconwood Pack #3) Author: C.D. Gorri My Rating: 5 Stars
REVIEW Randall is the pack guard and a computer genius. He loves his work, he doesn't really have to engage with people which suits him just fine. Well Rafe his Alpha decides he needs a little vacation.
Sent to a place called Bloody Point, South Carolina... Really??
Tulla is a single mom, she was left the place she calls home by her aunt. The only family besides her young son she has. She loves her B&B, and she is a fierce and protective mom. Danny though he is special and you will find out just how much.
Dangerous, Sexy, Family, Courage and so much more await you in this story!
Randall Graves is the computer wiz for the pack, he's also part of the Guard...He doesn't want a vacay, hasn't ever taken one and is not going to start now. Butttttt his alpha orders him to take a month long vacation at a little town away from the world, not even WiFi! When he gets off the boat taxi and gets one look at the vision in front of him, all bets are off....He's going no where, but vacay!
Tulla never thought she would see, or feel the things she is feeling when she get's a look at the hunk getting off the boat taxi and here she thought the computer geek who knew only work was an old geezer! NOT!
received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Code Wolf: A Macconwood Pack Novel (The Macconwood Pack Series Book 3) by C.D. Gorri is a Paranormal Werewolves and Shifters Romance. I love the whole series which keeps getting better and better. A well written fast paced sweet and steamy. Both the storyline and characters are well developed. Loved Tulla and Randall and the chemistry between them.Standalone with no cheating and an HEA. Do not miss this one or the whole series.
Gorri's Series/Stories only get better and better. I constantly am on the lookout for her new stories. This story is close my favorite of all of her books, the characters come to life in the story. This is a fast paced story with enough action to keep you glued to your book/e-book. You feel their pains and their happiness with them. I have read all the books in her series so far, and I believe I have read everything she has published also. Buy the whole series you will not be sorry. This is a voluntary review of an ARC copy.
This author has once again amazed me with her stories! This book really touched my heart, the single mom, the self-imposed shut in, and the little boy who is nothing but light, all came together in a story about second chances that I couldn’t make myself put down. The author drew me in with the love story and then kept me enthralled by the bad guys and the fight for good. This book really enhanced the series and I am looking forward to seeing what happens next.
OMG was this hot. This book series was amazing. I could not put it down until I finished reading it. I definitely recommend this book to anyone who is looking to read it and aren’t sure if they want to. Trust me, you will love it. Cant wait to read the next one.
I voluntarily read an Advanced Reading Copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I received an audio code for Code Wolf and I am so glad I did. Randall is so big and fluffy and protective when it comes to Tulla and her son Daniel. I love the chemistry and the suspense. I love the lore and legends. The book is well done with good flow, nice background and well rounded characters. My preference is for dual narration but Ms. Paige does a good job using inflection and tone to separate speaking voices. This was a quick and easy listen that I truly enjoyed.
I loved the narration of Ri Paige, who brings out the characters, action and heat.
Tulla is a single mom, of a young boy. Her aunt leaves her place to call home. A B & B. In Bloody Point. Randall a computer genius. He loves his work, he doesn't really stay around people which suits him. As he is is the pack guard. Rafe his Alpha decides he needs a little vacation.
