Wizz is back again - and what disaster is he trying to avoid this time? He's as cheeky as ever, and he'll do whatever he can to stop you reading this book! Another hilarious story that will entertain children and adults alike. Ignore Wizz and keep reading the book till you reach the end, if you dare!
Andy Lee’s a comedian, musician, and TV presenter, who became an award winning children’s books’ author by accident. The first book in this series was only ever meant to have one copy. Andy wrote it as a surprise for his sister and her husband to celebrate their son George’s first birthday.
When he asked his mate to print him one copy, his mate said, ‘This book is good, can we print more?’ What did Andy reply? ‘No. DO NOT print this book.’ Pretty sure you can guess what happened next.
This was for sure the book that I read more often this year, as my son kept chosing it over and over again, since he received it as a gift for his 5th birthday. It was a crowd pleaser.
I bought this book as an Easter present for my five year old daughter and she loved it - 100 out of 100 stars for the book (she has her own unique rating system!).
She read the book herself with no help or prompts from me or her dad and was giggling away. She really enjoyed it from cover to cover, the illustrations were funny and she loved "holy crumpets!" and found that especially funny.
She is flying with her reading at school and I loved that this was a book she could read independently and the fact she read it put loud to me was lovely too - brilliant book and she has three more out of the series to read too
Yet another with this formula, but the kids just love these books, so onto the shelf it goes! This one starts off with the traditional "I've made it too hard to turn the pages of this book" before changing things up a little by introducing the concept of size. I'll road test it with Kindergarten today! EDIT: Had to bump my rating up one more star - it was so much fun to read aloud! Very well received by the students.
