After reading this book, you'll have a better grasp of your finance, and you will be informed of the next move towards financial liberty. In this book, you will • What is Personal Finance? • The Golden Rules of Personal Finance • Why Budgeting Is Important • Saving and Investing • Easy Ways to Reduce Expenses • How to Build an Emergency Fund • Five Simple Money Management Tips • Personal Finance Tips to Master Money All of it is part of this book, and much more, so let's continue the ride together to make your life stress free!
Personal finance is such an important topic, especially now as we have to look at our finances differently because of the current pandemic. Not that it isn't always important, but as jobs may be limited for us now and money may be tight, personal finance takes on a whole new meaning. Unfortunately, this book is little more than a brief overview of what you would probably assume to be personal finance topics like budgeting, saving, investing, and reducing expenses. The PDF ARC copy I received is only 33 pages in total. That means the author does not go into any depth on any of the topics. In fact, some (if not most) subtopics only get a paragraph or two. If you truly are a beginner looking to improve your personal finances, this book won't provide enough information to help you. It almost feels like each chapter is a separate blog post on a particular personal finance topic. If you are unsure of the parameters of personal finance and some standard general advice, this isn't a bad introduction, but it is in no way complete enough to truly help someone who wants to get their personal finances in order.
I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.
As someone who has blown money all my life, this guide has been helpful in making me plan my finances better now that I want to be more sensible. Some of the information is pretty obvious, but it reminds you that you need to take the right steps in the right order in order for your financial future to be more successful.
I was aware of some of the tricks mentioned but it definitely gave me some bits of information I didn't know about. Worth reading, sets your mind in thinking the right direction about saving!
Nothing new, not engaging... Not actually good advise. Much better advise in similar books or even online. I do not recommended this book for beginners... Or adults...
I really loved this. This was easy enough for me to read and understand. The basics of personal finance was well explained and easy to comprehend. It made it easier to understand my personal finance class I'm taking.
Although a bit repetitive, this book is informative and a good place to start (as the title indicates) on one's journey to budgeting, saving, spending or building a nest egg. Enjoyed the lessons and learn how to budget.
Simple, Quick, and to the point. The best phrase is "Invest in yourself before anything and everything". For a newbie, it's a must-read, and for an experienced person it is once in a half year read.
I’m a little older & already know a great deal on much of the content in this book but there was still some ideas that I found beneficial that I would like to implement. It’s a great book with great info.
