On the one hand the author does give the reader some insights to the types. On the other hand, 90% of what she’s suggesting we do is just general good advice…
Interesting, basic information about the elements and a quick assessment you can do to see where you are strong and where weak. Lots of practical suggestions, most of which could be found in any decent book about self-care.
I got more practical value from this book than anything else Jean has written. Things I can do for myself without practicing with a partner (which I don't have). Found my type was different than the 9 star ki one using my birthday or from my chinese face reading so this really adds to what I learned in those two methods from this master teacher. Easy to understand and utilize.
Erg interessant en herkenbaar. Heb het gelezen omdat ik me de laatste tijd meer bezig hou met het holistische en hoe ik mijn leven op een prettige manier kan indelen. Via een collega die een stuk verder is op dit pad heb ik te horen gekregen dat ik een waterpersoon ben. Ik herken veel dingen uit dit boek die passen bij water en hoe ik inderdaad op laadt! Ik ga nu ik het boek uitheb binnenkort beginnen met de 5 weken reboot waarbij ik al mijn elementen in balans wil brengen:)!
I love Jean's books; her teachings have transformed my life. This is such an easy read, especially after some of her other books that were more challenging for me to apply to my life.
This is another way of thinking about the self and the way that we are wired. It’s an interesting approach to keeping life in balance with practical applications that I am excited to try out.
