Just when she thought she had everything she wanted...
Victoria's life was on track. She had the love of two wonderful men, a job she adored, and she was slowly getting a grip on her powers of clairvoyance.
Just when she thinks she can settle into a life of calm, a past love returns, and with him a whole realm of trouble, the least of which involves animosity between her mother and his father.
Join Victoria on her new adventure as she navigates her love life with three men, while using her powers to search for a missing relic that, should it fall into the wrong hands, could cause a catastrophe that makes the demon, Fa'gh, look like the parasite that he was.
3.5 stars. It was ok, I like it enough to read on and see what it is about but at times I was so close to dnf-ing this book. The relationships are rushed, they went from 0 to 100 and the sexual scenes came out of nowhere and were in every chapter. At times, many points in the book, it seems that the scenes were there to just add substance to a dull book. Moreover, the author's writing style is stagnant and hard to read, mostly because she tells instead of showing.
I love reading a RH book with bi males. But I personally would like there to be an even balance. With this book it felt like Akira was more into Lucien then her. I didn't like that at all. But the story is good.
This was a very enjoyable read that I finished in one sitting. Did not plan to but I could not put it down once I started. It moves along at a great pace, has interesting characters that no matter what you want to see them succeed and you will fall in love with them and a story that keeps you reading and when you are done you are wanting more. This book needs to be read, you will not be sorry that you did.
I’m not sure why I didn’t like this story as much as the first one, but I think it’s more MY issue than anything wrong with the tale. I prefer a touch more emotional angst before the cave, but this one rips right into relationships - though it does seem to delve deeper into honest communication, a failing many RH novels seem to have.
I like the characters , their interactions and I'm curious to read the next instalment. Akira is my favourite as I'm a wild lover but all the guys bring their own dynamic to the family.
Vic is trying to figure out her relationship with Akira and Lucien, while also avoiding her history with Shax. I liked seeing them talk through the issues/feelings that cropped up in their relationships. This is an insta-love/fates mates story so there isn’t much build up to the relationships, so seeing them work through issues was great. I did wish that Shax had taken some of the responsibility for the past - at least apologized. This is a poly story vs RH, although each of the guys is with Vic they also love the other guys too. The mystery seemed to be solved a little easily, although the ending did leave a tease for the next book and the relationship.
This like the first gives lot go steamy sexy fun. But I loved the getting to know the characters better, the open communication that Vickie is so blunt about that is refreshing so that in this Rh there isn't so much angst around the relationship it is used to support the characters and the storyline and give fun. which I love, because it doesn't become the only thing that keeps the story going or the focus of the story. You have the mystery, the humor, the relationship building...it's just a fun read. I've really enjoyed this as much if not more than the first.
This was a quick read for me. I almost DNF, but I was curious, and just completed for the sake of it. I enjoyed book 1 more. I felt that they rushed into new relationships too quickly, and I felt that they were fickle with their affections with one another, considering their deep commitment in book 1. The book ends with them even hinting at a possible another addition, when they know nothing about the individual, except he needs their help and is kind of cute. I didn't like that at all. The action is less and not as good as the first book.
So this book was remarkably better than the first. I loved the one liners, it just injects that bit of humour that brings an instant smile to your face. There were still lots of errors in the book especially towards the end, like it was rushed. However I love the addition of an ad to the group and akira and Lucien are just perfection. It reads as a great partnership and I definitely enjoyed it way more than the last one.
Victoria it's trying to figure out her new clairvoyance power and why she glows. Now her mom wants her to be with the coven but is this because she has new powers or some other reason. Victoria is also learning some new things as well as some secrets about her guys. Supernaturals have been when they arrived America. An ancient artifact has been stolen and this artifact can summon minor demons.
A good book which enjoyed with the developing relationships between not just the RH members but wider family. Good storylines always hinting at more to keep engaged. Not so pleased with grammar errors creeping in its emaciated for someone starved not emancipated but my autocorrect just changed it so maybe forgiven!
Aspen (and Adammeh) have done it again! A wonderful read with lots of action and hot m/m/f. I can't wait too keep reading where VIc and the guys go! Adammeh did amazing with the drawings!!!
I agree with another reviewer that this series just keeps getting better. Love the steady raise of harem members, amazing story and captivating characters. Can't wait to read more. JL
Ok.....I really enjoyed this book. This book had relationship growth and personal growth as well. There was a lot of hot and sexy time but it didn’t pull you out of the story. Over all I really enjoyed this book and can’t wait for the next one.
This was an ok book. I liked the writing and I liked the characters. I wish there was more ghosts and maybe a man that was just for the Mc. I enjoyed reading this book.
This is a very good series. The character decedent much deeper this time as did the world building. The suspense was top notch and compelling. The romantic angle is super hot, love the MM action. I'm definitely hooked for book 3.
This was a fun story, although the author's writing style isn't great. As others have said, there's a lot of tell and very little show. Also, this seriously needs a good proofreader. "He was extremely thin, on the verge of being emancipated." Snicker. I think they meant "emaciated". Still, it's a quick read with an interesting enough plot that it should keep you entertained once you get into it.
I wanted to like this but it just felt like the guys were more into each other then the FMC! There's very little depth to the relationship outside of sex. She's just kind of the excuse for the guys being together. Probably won't continue
Really can't wait for the next I think the pictures are a wonderful touch as you can see what the author sees when she is writing the story loved this book :)
This series started really well. It has a bunch of typos but if they don't bother you don't let it stop ya. It will be interesting to see what happens next
I like the concept of this series and the characters are fantastic but this is more of an orgy than a reverse harem. They seem to care more for each other than the mc.
DNF @ 18% This author's writing style isn't for me. It'd been a while since I read the first one but I recall feeling like the steamy scenes were a little cringey. This one was much the same.
